We are only 3 blocks from Madison Square Garden in Midtown. Because they know we are one of the best bars near Madison Square Garden, Knicks and Rangers fans meet with their friends to get ready for the game or to cap off the evening. We are sports fans too so we made sure to set up Mustang Sally’s to fit a sports fan’s idea of what good bars are. At Sally’s, you don’t have to deal with the obscene prices at MSG. Concert goers still energized from the show also find Mustang Sally’s the best bar around Madison Square. Coming to an authentic Irish bar will make any big Madison Square event a couple pints better.

Family stopped in before concert at Madison Square Garden. Nice staff, good service and dinner choices all very good. Would recommend for a casual atmosphere and good food.

Got in late to our hotel in the Flower District & needed dinner. Found this place down the street. Good pub grub, great bar & sports on TVs throughout. Seemed to have a lot of local patrons. Good atmosphere.

An American Bar with a relaxed atmosphere. We made a reservation and were given a booth, comfortable and ideal for a talkative group of friends. The sharing nachos were a good portion, as was the fish and chips that followed, though each portion was made up of three small pieces of battered fish. After struggling to finish the main courses,... More

It wasn't my first visit to NY, so I remembered this place and I gotta say that it hasn't changed a bit from what I remembered: the fod was great, the staff was nice, and overall is just a good bar to go to and eat while enjoying a good beer, or, if you are into sports, while watching their... Sort of the typical Irish Pub/sports bar, it was busy and lively on a Saturday night. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and wasn't very friendly. Had a burger that was pretty good.

Decided to stop by for a drink & an appy with friends. Bartender, much older man, was gruff, cranky right from the start of our order. Forgot one of our drinks and made us feel uncomfortable because we wanted to order an appy at the bar. The bar was busy, not packed, because it was 2 hours prior to a... More

Clean, solid service, a friendly spot to refresh yourselves after a long bus ride. The soups are always great, the fries are pricey but great, the service is always solid. Mustang Sally's is the perfect place to regroup to take on the city!

Normally I wouldn't bother writing a review about an average bar, but last night I was so impressed. There was one bartender and one waitress for the entire place on a Saturday night. The bar was packed. We sat down and ordered food and drinks and right away the waitress came over and apologized up front. She was so quick... More

We came here on the last night of our honeymoon - we were tired and just wanted something hearty and a drink or two. We came to the right place! The venue has a lovely bar area for drinkers, and nice booths for those who are eating. I had the mac and cheese (excellent!) and my wife had a chicken... More
