We are only 3 blocks from Madison Square Garden in Midtown. Because they know we are one of the best bars near Madison Square Garden, Knicks and Rangers fans meet with their friends to get ready for the game or to cap off the evening. We are sports fans too so we made sure to set up Mustang Sally’s to fit a sports fan’s idea of what good bars are. At Sally’s, you don’t have to deal with the obscene prices at MSG. Concert goers still energized from the show also find Mustang Sally’s the best bar around Madison Square. Coming to an authentic Irish bar will make any big Madison Square event a couple pints better.

Fun lively place with good food and so-so service

Sort of the typical Irish Pub/sports bar, it was busy and lively on a Saturday night. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and wasn't very friendly. Had a burger that was pretty good.

Decided to stop by for a drink & an appy with friends. Bartender, much older man, was gruff, cranky right from the start of our order. Forgot one of our drinks and made us feel uncomfortable because we wanted to order an appy at the bar. The bar was busy, not packed, because it was 2 hours prior to a... More

Clean, solid service, a friendly spot to refresh yourselves after a long bus ride. The soups are always great, the fries are pricey but great, the service is always solid. Mustang Sally's is the perfect place to regroup to take on the city!

Normally I wouldn't bother writing a review about an average bar, but last night I was so impressed. There was one bartender and one waitress for the entire place on a Saturday night. The bar was packed. We sat down and ordered food and drinks and right away the waitress came over and apologized up front. She was so quick... More

We came here on the last night of our honeymoon - we were tired and just wanted something hearty and a drink or two. We came to the right place! The venue has a lovely bar area for drinkers, and nice booths for those who are eating. I had the mac and cheese (excellent!) and my wife had a chicken... More

Food was very good. Didn't get all of the sides that were supposed to be included (pickle and coleslaw) but on the up side, food was hot which is important to me.

Supposedly the place to be before Ranger and Knick's games, but we just stopped in for a cocktail to warm up after a day of walking the highline ~ our waitress was quick, pleasant and accomodating.... veggie panini and steak sandwich were perfect!

Struggling to find somewhere to eat in this part of town with two fussy teens and not wanting pasta, pizza, burger,Chinese or indian.what to do? So went for a bar and had some good simple food. Son had fish and chips,I had a chicken Pot,Calamari and more chicken all was good. For me the pale ale was good and very reasonable too. Recommended.

If you're in the mood for a comfy meal of chicken pot pie, this is the place to go. The pot pie is really huge. I started eating it, but then realized that I couldn't finish it so I only ate the "filling" part, underneath the thick, buttery, flaky crust. If you order this, know that you'll probably take half... More

Popped in for a beer after some hectic sightseeing and stayed for a few more and even came back again. Sports are constantly on the tv's and all the premier league/champions league games are on separate screens- feels weird watching them at 2.30 in the afternoon though. Definitely recommend this place if your nearby Madison square garden and want to... More
