Spent a while here whilst waiting for our horse & carriage ride through Central Park. The bar is located on 7th Avenue just a few minutes walk from Central Park South. Didn't eat so unable to comment on the food but the drinks were good, toilets clean & staff friendly Try & sit in the window & watch the people... More

Only visited for a drink. Sat around the huge bar in the middle; great for people watching. Nothing special or particular about the bar!

Sad reflection on Irish Culture & a poor reflection on the owners of this establishment. Plastic glasses & cheaply dressed barmaids with loud so called Irish music. Not my idea of a place to visit on such an occasion or any other time for that matter. What a dump!!

My fiancee and I had spent the morning walking through Central Park and needed to find some where to sit down for a while as well as use the restroom. We usually tried to find a place that didn't charge an arm and a leg to have a beer at but, after walking all day I didn't care! We were... More

Used to be a great neighborhood gem...but.... Rude staff. Questionable food...seriously how do you mess up chicken tenders...by trying to make them faux-fancy. Also, if you aren't Irish be prepared to take a back seat and wait for you drinks as the bartenders chat up their friends and country men, leaving you to wonder if this is New York or... More

Friendly staff, nice beer and food. Came here especially for the Sierra Nevada and Lagunitas on tap! Awesome beers and no Brazilian arround (kidding, I'm one ov'em).

The arrogance and condescending attitude of the bartenders will kill any buzz you might otherwise have gotten from the somewhat overpriced drinks...

Ok place, the barmaid was exceptional...my fiance thought the owners son's lame chat up lines were almost funny...he would drop them out every time i went to the mens, explains why he couldn't maintain eye contact with me...shame for him, poor man...

Meg the bartender is great and so are the rest of the staff. I had a great time there during the NYC marathon weekend. I ended up forgetting my $2K camera, and when I went back the next morning they had it safely put away. If you want a place to grab a beer and be around nice people, go... More

Arrived in New York City on a Thursday evening. We were staying at 56th and 7th. We were out walking around Times Square and decided to have dinner and a couple of beers before heading back to our lodging. We found PJ Carney's nearby and decided it would be a decent choice. It's small and a bit noisy, but we... More
