Fantastic Service and Waitstaff !

We were meeting a business colleague in that area for a casual drink and light fare. None of us wanted anything fancy,(We did consider the Plaza) so our hotel concierge recommended it as an Irish Pub that the locals went. That was fine with us, since we wanted a place to sit and chat. The place... read more

The food was good and for NYC it didn't break the bank. Getting the food itself didn't take long, but don't expect the waitresses to go out of their way to check on you....we had to seek ours out to get the bill (never asked if we didn't refills, etc). Kind of loud but it is NYC so that is... More

Its happy hour is cheap for New York, but the customer service is terrible. The waitresses seem to enjoy ignoring you and get your request wrong, almost on purpose.

This was a great little bar to sit at and watch the people go by or get together with friends. Wonderful friendly staff, great drinks and food. We went there every night of our stay in NYC and will be back next time.

After walking through the cold central park decided to stop for lunch with my family. Our choice was not the PC first, had three other restaurants in the same corner. However, reading the menu of the day and look people in there that looked so well and eating what appeared to be so tasty, we decided to risk it. To... More

Wow, what a great little surprise! walked past it on our way to Central Park. My sister had to get off her feet and had to eat so she darted in and the other seven of us followed. Wish I remembered the servers name. She did great and didn't write down our orders, yet got them all correct. Food was delicious!!!!... More

Just had drinks w/family, and enjoyed the close and friendly atmosphere. Built in '27, i'm sure it hasn't changed much over the years. Bartender's are hard working and enjoying it as much as we were.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
