We spent a lot of time in Ireland last year so we crave everything Irish. Lunch at this place was good and the atmosphere friendly. The service was appropriate and prices reasonable compared to most Manhattan establishments. We ordered burghers and Reuben sandwich - both tasty. It is convenient also to stop here for dinner after a day at MoMa.

Headed to MoMA after a trip to tStatue of Liberty and Ground Zero. This was my preferred destination, but the gang found the restaurants in MoMA either too pricey or hoypooloy so wE went across the street to this fine pub. The Maitre d' was Irish as a Clancy and so was the Bartender. Not sure he appreciated my joke... More

My husband and I came here for dinner. We were sat near the till which had trays of dirty plates under it that the waiters would collect and take across the restaurant past people who were eating. In front of us was also a bin which was crammed with rubbish. We both decided to have burgers. I had asked for... More

We enjoyed the steak and shepherd's pie. Great comfort food on a cold winter's night. The NFL was on the TV - good to see the Green Bay Packers in action.

We had lunch in this cute Irish pub. We just happened upon it after visiting the MoMA. The Gaelic burger and Irish onion soup are both very good. A downside were extremely dirty bathrooms and just a one person one for each sex.

Husband and I went here because of its close proximity to the MOMA. Location was the only good thing about this place. Service wasn't that friendly, food was subpar, and price isn't cheap. With all the great places to eat in NYC why would you want to eat here? Only go here for a drink and set your expectations low.

Had the Shepard's pie and the chicken curry, food was very tasty, service prompt and courteous, and great atmosphere with the pub that's connected to the restaurant.

We liked Connolly's more for its service than for its food. It's your basic pub, not particularly Irish despite the name. Lots of TVs. The people who greeted and served us stood out for their friendliness. The food, however, was the same as in other pubs we visited: nicely presented, decent, but not large portions, and good, but nothing special.... More
