Wait staff need some tips on sales

Third time here.....hard sell off the street, like all Mulberry St....food ok like always, but wait staff very impatient especially as you do nt up-sell asap on the wine....A party of five should NOT have an automatic 18% service charge and should not have a service charge calculated on a base that... read more

6 of us drove into Little Italy for dinner. We were hawked to check out the menu at Casa Bella. They were busy and the place next door only had a few people there, so logical choice right? Menu looked good and a table right on the street was getting up so we sat down. Service was constantly attentive, and... More

Great location, right on the corner, we had a attentive waiter and our food was delicious! I had home made gnocchi and it was heavenly! Will definitely come here again.

I'm 100% Brooklyn Italian-American and rarely eat at Italian restaurants...nothing like home cooking. So, I was skeptical when friends suggested a get-together there on a Friday evening. Then I read the Yelp reviews, which were mixed, to say the least. Well, forget the Yelp reviews. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The eggplant parm was fresh and tasty. The inside... More

We love going to little Italy every time we visit NYC. Casa Bella is by far the best restaurant in little Italy. And one of the best in all of Manhattan. The menu is excellent, fair in price and absolutely delicious. The scene, the vibe and surroundings are awesome. So much fun and a wonderful night. Wilson the main man... More

You really should dine here. Lots of trip advisor suggest that you can get better Italian elsewhere outside of little Italy. I'm not going to argue that Point but I would definitely recommend eating here if you are going to eat in Little Italy. We had a large party of 9 order pizzas pasta with salmon, manicotti, lasagna and everyone... More

We stopped at this place because it offered gluten-free pasta. All our meals were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the sangria. My only complaint would be the lack of free refills on soda.

We were strolling thru Little Italy with the intention of grabbing some lunch. There are a million places...which one do you choose? They are probably all good but we settled on this place. We were not disappointed. Vilson, the guy at the entrance that "sold" us on the place and ushered us in was friendly and FUN! We got a... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
