Liked so much we went twice

We found this place,of many we visited, to be cosy, friendly and dished up freshly cooked food from a good menu.

We stopped in here on Halloween. The staff were friendly, service was good and the food was fresh and good. There seemed to be a lot of regulars who knew the staff, yet we felt welcome. Wonderful dinner.

I went to the Bus Stop café for breakfast and enjoyed an eggwhite omelet with spinach, goat cheese and bacon. The service was swift and nice and so was the food. I really enjoyed this cute little place and can absolutely recommend it for a wonderful morning break:o)

We have been going here regularly for 20 years. This is a solid diner with lots of variety and specials. Its the kind of place where I come dragging in after a long day and the Manager takes one look at me and says relax and hands me a glass of wine. How can you not appreciate that? The food... More

I had been aware of this charming little cafe for a while but had not visited until recently. It is a nice neighborly place to eat. Very family friendly. On my most recent visit I had eggs Benedict. They were very good and the service was very attentive. Highly recommended and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

We had a late dinner here after an Off Zbroadway show . Everything else was a 1-2 hour wait . Here they gave us a table right away . This was NOT reflective of the food or the service . We were greeted by a very charming young woman at the door who sat us right away . They took... More

Had a vg plate of eggs Benedict, with a rather surprising (and unnecessary) addition of fried potatoes. Usual unlimited coffee and a very laid-back ambience. Recommended (and not too far from the High Line and Whitney)

This is a great little spot for brunch, really nice staff & tasty, reasonable priced food. We came here after walking out of a ridiculously 'trendy' place in Meat Packing. Bus Stop doesn't look much from the outside but we are so glad we stopped by. Had a mimosa with waffles for Sunday brunch & it was fab! Would def... More

They have wonderful indoor or al fresco seating. There are always tables available for both. Peak brunch hours is 11:30 - 12:45pm. Brunch starts at 11AM - and is a good deal. I visit frequently for Sunday brunch. The steak and egg brunch offering is usually a skirt steak. And I always come back for more. Sorry - don't know... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
