I used to love this neighborhood place. comfortable, casual with good, inexpensive food, but recently I did not enjoy my meal at all...maybe they have a new chef?

Good food, good service, large menu with lots of choices, nice outdoor seating in season, good portions and good prices. What could be better for a quick or relaxing breakfast, lunch or dinner? If you live or are staying in the area, they deliver.

Good food, nice place to watch the world go by given you look out onto the farmers market. Some waitresses better than others but friendly on the whole.

I just happened on this place while strolling around the village after walking down from Times Square on the High Line. It was quiet and peaceful with a real neighborhood feel. The staff was charming, my omelet special was delicious (avocado and jalapeno), no one pressured me, and I could sip my coffee and read my paper in peace. The... More

We were looking for a late breakfast / brunch diner experience in the West Village. The Bus Stop certainly provides this - no frills food and all the usual American breakfast options (eggs how you like them, pancakes, waffles and coffee). They even had corned beef hash which was an option I've not often come across on my trips to... More

Location is perfect for shopping, people-watching, etc. Good variety of basic comfort foods. Quality was solid and you can't beat the service and prices.

This is our favourite place for breakfast in the West Village. In fact, we only missed 2 of our 9 breakfasts there, because theirs is such a great way to start the day. My favourite is their corned beef hash with eggs, which comes with fried potatoes, juice, coffee & toast. Their bagels, pancakes, muffins, oatmeal & granola are also... More

We visited this cafe after a long easter sunday with easterparade on fifth avenue and heavy shopping. Everyone were tired, hungry and cold. The waiter arranged a seating inside eventhough we started sitting outside. Everyones food were execellent and we had BLT sandwich, different burgers and pasta with pesto. Like our teenagers said 'If any restaurant calls for us ordering... More

I came in out of the rain to Bus Stop. A full brunch menu had me really stumped at what to order. I had the French toast with bacon (being British this was a new concept to me). The food was great (though maple syrup and bacon is still alien to me!) What makes this place extra special is the... More

This a cosy restaurant that serves food one might fine in a great diner with diner prices. A neighborhood spot to comfortable eat casually and inexpensively. In good weather dining outside in the sun is a real treat. This a total casual and unpretenious favorite dining spot in the neighborhood
