Went for breakfast twice while staying on Manhattan for a short holiday with friends (our rented apartment was just a block away), after reading the positive comments on Tripadvisor. Was definitely not let down. It's a typical NYC café, run by lovely and caring people. The service is homely and warm, nothing was ever a problem and the guy who... More

Service is terrible at this place. Waited for food forever and than they just come in and throw the plate in front of you. Without even asking whether there is anything else you'd like to order, they throw the check on your table. Then, as a Baruch student I should be entitled to 15% discount (or at least that is... Early morning visit. Time for breakfast before heading back to Boston. Friendly staff, Clean tables. The girls had omelettes. They looked delicious. Must had been. they ate every bite. They were both prepared perfectly, as one of the parties has some dietary requirements. I just had a plain bagel, lox & cream cheese. Plenty of lox, plenty of cream cheese.... More

Good, promptly served breakfasts with plenty of choice. Also good for lunch and dinner. It feels like you are a New Yorker when you eat here.

Two of us stumbled upon this little gem while searching for somewhere to sit down for breakfast. Had a delicious meal with perfect coffee that just kept coming. Great service and the place was full of firemen (scenery!!!).

We had breakfast here on Memorial day. We hesitated at first to go in because there were no other customers inside. We decided to give it a try. Glad that we did! The staff was very friendly with excellent service. The food was terrific with large portions. The french toast was huge and was my family's favorite. The chocolate chip... More

The restrooms are clean as clean can be and I think the place never closes. Portions are enormous. Staff is very accomodating. Kids are welcome. I like the oatmeal, which is not instant.

Went here for breakfast on Sunday morning. Service was quick and efficient (we sat at the inner tables, the ones by the windows were full (I like sitting by the window and people watching). I had an omlet which was very good. Hash browns were also good. Very generous portions. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was cheerful but not... More

I had breakfast in differenti diners andò cafes when I was Living in NYC, but the sunflower breakfast has always been the best. Banana and blueberries pancakes my favourite. Not bad the deluxe mushroom burger. Always ask for their French fries!
