A Great Place for a Drink and a Snack

We came on a Saturday afternoon and greatly enjoyed our cocktails, one rum based, the other a chocalatini. The complimentary tray of snack mix was delicious and ample. A duck flatbread hit the spot, well executed, moist and tasty. Sliders were also flavorful, but cooked just a bit too... read more

I don't get this place at all. My mom had a coupon for a free drink since it was her birthday for this place or Oscars or Bull and Bear. They open at 11:30 a.m. we got there alittle before 11:30 as we have ate here before and enjoyed it very much. Well we we're stopped in our tracks as... More

Very exclusive buffet, Prime seafood, fish station, meat and vegetarian choices. Everything we had tasted wonderful. There was so many desserts to choose from, the once we had tasted very good. Expensive but worth it. No drinks included ( I think ) Yummy Martinis

We rode out the blizzard of 2016 here with a dozen other snowbound guests at the bar and had a ball. The drinks were perfect and the atmosphere is spectacular. The lobby of the Waldorf Astoria is a living museum/tribute to Art Deco. Whether relaxing with a cocktail at a table or the bar, or enjoying a burger for lunch,... More

Went to the Waldorf Astoria to sample the Sunday brunch. It was pretty busy so glad I booked for me and a friend. Greeted warmly and taken into the back area of the restaurant - lovely room and harpist playing. The brunch is displayed ranges from breakfast items (egg, sausage, bacon, pastries etc) thru salads, seafood and carvery. If you... More

At $105.00 per person without any alcoholic beverages (not even a mimosa or champagne) this was a pricey brunch. That being said, if you like shrimp, lobster, beef wellington and lobster macaroni and cheese, then this is the place for you. The food is well prepared, beautifully presented and unlimited. So bring your appetite, a fat wallet and enjoy.

The truffled fries were very good and one of the better Manhattans in New York. But they were slow. Not European hang out and talk slow, but did the waiter forget the drink and food, are they under staffed, if they are actors by trade could they act like waiters, did they lose the cow, slow. Each time we were... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
