Gouged price for Mothers Day & missing res

Although I truly disapproved of paying $149 per person (not $100), I did it to take a special friend out for Mother's Day (and we were staying over at the Waldorf)! Upon arrival, our reservation could not be found. I went straight to customer service when I was told we would be considered walk-ins... read more

The Peacock Alley is comfortable and friendly. We can highly recommend The Peacock cocktail. The Waldorf Salad is like no other that we've tried before; it was superb and a must for all diners. The Peacock Alley is fairly expensive, but you're paying for your location and surroundings. Well worth a visit.

We ate here several times out of convenience, and the food was ok. One dinner was really not very good. I ordered a pasta dish and it really lacked flavor. Some of the things were good, some not, that is why I gave it 3 stars. It was very expensive so I expected more.

What a beautiful hotel and restaurant I felt really special on my 50th Birthday. The food was amazing the best I have ever tasted. The waiter arranged for a cake to be sent to the table and everyone sang Happy Birthday. Service and ambiance was perfect.

Ate there most nights while at The Waldorf. Small plates restaurant but with a great menu. Great seafood and salads and their truffle fries were to die for. Wonderful service and afterwards being serenaded by my good friend, the lovely and talented Emilee Marie Floor. Memorable nights. Highly recommended. Can't wait til my next visit next April for my birthday.

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
