Very nice bar in the Waldorf

Very good bar. Excellent selection of wine. The pine ridge Cabernet was very good. Cheese platter was very good. Beef sliders were just OK. Waldorf salad had mixed reviews. Very good service.

A great place for a power lunch and dinner or to enjoy a cocktail or two. The breakfasts are good. Its a great place to people watch and drink at the same time.

Really don't visit here unless you are do the WA tour as it really is not the place to come if you want friendly and helpful waiting staff. The staff here are the rudest in New York and for a City that is known for its friendliness. Avoid at all costs.

Pre-show we decided on a snack of manhattans and the cheese board. The cheese board has several nice selections along with honey harvested from the roof top garden and perfectly sliced crostini. The manhattans are a special concoction of the bartenders in this lounge; you won't find them at the Bull & Bear. Deviate from your normal libation and try... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
