We booked lunch for Xmas Day. What a disappointment. No Xmas decorations! We were not offered a glass of Champagne, had to sit on our coats as we were not asked if they could be hung up. The appetisers were very nice. Main meal was very very basic - no turkey and very few vegtables to go with the Beef... More

We have visited Peacock Alley a couple of times and the food surprises us every time. The food is prepared to perfection regardless if you choose a sallad, pasta or meat. If you're lucky they'll have a good piano player that plays whatever you like while you sip on a nice cocktail.

Food was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. Wait staff however were brusque and somewhat indifferent. Recommend you try the Waldorf Salad - it was superb.

We stayed at the Waldorf for our wedding anniversary and decided to give Sunday Brunch a shot and we were glad we did! It was pricey as expected but wow what spread! Lobster, crab claws, caviar, beef wellington, and lamb shoulder just to name a few of the delacies!

Always had some of the best servers around. Great place to relax and people-watch. They oddly close-up around midnight which is a bit of a pain, however the bartenders are very knowledgeable and they maintain a very extensive bottle list.

We booked Peacock Alley for Xmas Day lunch to ensure it was a day to remember. Overall we were happy with experience, quickly shown to our table, beautiful food, and a nice atmosphere. However the service and personal interaction by the wait staff could be improved. No festive cheer, and limited decorations as well in the seating area.

I used to stay here a lot in the 90's so was very much looking forward to going for brunch with a friend of mine while we were visiting in last December. We had lunch here, shortly after we arrived at the hotel. They sat us right next to some beautiful flowers. The menu was somewhat limited for lunch and very expensive. Myself, my husband and our two adult children booked Xmas lunch at the Waldorf for our Xmas visit to New York with high expectations.
