We had brunch here and the food and service were adequate. It was nice to dine while watching young kids skate around on the rink. The prices are reasonable for what you get. We had a table by the window and it was a bit chilly, but the outdoor temperature was below 20. We decided not to move. There isn't... More

Watch the skaters in the wintertime and enjoy!. The restaurant isn't crammed with tables only inches apart. Have a leisurely meal and enjoy watching what goes on in Rockefeller Center.

We were looking to give our wallets a break on Valentine's Day after a coupe months of some extremely expensive dining, and the Rock Center Café seemed like a bargain with a $59 prix fixe menu. The food was cooked perfectly, no complaints. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. Granted it was Valentine's Day so they were quite busy,... More

This is a tourist favorite , there are better choices in the area Del Fresco Grill for example We had a waiter who was trying hard to push the daily special which we had no idea of the cost on one of us .Two of us had pre fixe lunch which included desert for which he charged us $24 ,when... More

Was turned away somewhat abrubtly last night admittedly it was Valentines, went back today adn my wife and I were then treated atrociously and verbally abused by the manager and staff after we had had a very confortable hour at the bar. Dont want to go into any more detail , but beware and go elsewhere!!!

Nothing is inexpensive in midtown Mahattan. The Rock Center Cafe hits the mark with good food and service. The view of the skaters is a plus,it keeps the kids occupied if they are with you. The value is excellent.

We visited this location twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. It is located right next to the ice rink, so as one dines, one can watch the skaters on the ice at their level. (The Zamboni Driver needs a few lessons.) The food for both meals was OUTSTANDING. For dinner both my sister and I had steak with... More

Booked a table here for breakfast around Christmas time! Whenever I called the staff were very friendly and we had the same welcome when we arrived at the cafe. We asked for a table by the window which we got and our waiter came over to introduce himself. He was lovely. So friendly yet professional and made us feel very... More

It’s the sort of place that you’d expect to be a tourist trap, overpriced, great location, great view but food is an afterthought, but it really wasn’t. It does have a great view of the Ice rink, and is a very comfortable restaurant but the food was really good too, and considering the location I didn’t think overpriced. We went... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
