We had brunch here on a Sunday. Great drink selection, food was good, can't beat the location. Bathrooms were a bit of an issue. And we had to change tables as the one next to us was way too close and had ornery kids. But lovely service, a really great start to the day!

Staff was wonderful and accommodated every request. Food was v good, and view overlooks Rock Center. (where the rink is every winter). Not as unique or spectacular with its menu as other New York establishments, it is nonetheless a good option for out of town guests, and right across the street from St. Patrick's. Overall a nice option for lunch.

Great food, limited menu but high quility ingredients. You definitely pay for the premium location. Drinks and cocktails are poor, bad quility and artificial flavored. Service is fine, just fine.

After a flight from London and meeting up with friends we decided to go the Rock Centre Cafe for a light evening meal. We were seated immediately. Cocktails arrived quickly and were good, food was excellent all-round and service excellent. However, our impression of this location changed when we went back 4 days later for breakfast. We were quickly shown... More

I decided on the Rock Center Cafe because of its prime location - a patio right in the Rockefeller Center itself. Unfortunately, the real estate is the only thing this place has going for it. First, I ordered a mojito. Despite the $14 price tag, it tasted awful and there wasn't a mint leaf in sight. I complained to the... More

Have eaten here several times and always enjoy the surroundings and food.We had excellent service and a very pleasant waitress who offered advice on whether portions were big enough to share or not. Try the peanut butter mousse dessert. Very good.

Headed there for lunch as we passed it. Thought it was a nice place to eat outdoors, decor is inviting. We took place at the tables beside the bar. The menu is quite simple, prices were as expected considering the location, but the food was quite ordinary, not worth it, even in this nice setting. The service was ok. Overall... More

Hello Marie-JoseeD I am so glad you enjoyed the view at the Summer Garden and Bar but am sorry to hear that your food did not meet the same expectations. When in NYC again, please stop in so that I may introduce myself. Best Regards, Allan C. Beardslee General Manager Rock Center Cafe/ Summer Garden & Bar More

Awful! We had to grab something to eat and found the Summer Garden & Bar which is a part of the Rock Center Cafe...terrible decision. The food was all horribly over priced (even for that part of NYC) and it wasn't anything special. However, the worst part of this place was the service. We sat at the bar and the... More

Really nice restaurant at the bottom of the rockafella center. It's more fine dining with mains from $25-35. They do a set 3 course menu for £38 though which was very good. We sat outside and the music and view were brilliant. Well worth going for a romantic meal.
