Wonderful Breakfast Spot

Typically go here for breakfast at least once every time I visit NYC. While a little pricey, the food and service are very good, and one can linger in peace. It's fun to watch the ice-skating in the winter; this space transforms to an outdoor extension of the cafe in spring.

We sat at the bar for cocktails one day and had a bar snack on Sunday when a jazz band was playing. A lovely way to spend an hour or so while waiting for your slot to go to the Observation Deck of the Rockefeller Centre..

The prices aren't worth what you get at this resataurant where the 30 Rock skating rink is in the winter. The food is good, but not worth what you end up paying. However, the atmosphere and location make it worthwhile. There was an excellent jazz band playing and that just added to the fairytale feeling of eating lunch at 30... More

You'll find this cafe next to the Rock, with a fountain running to one side, on Sundays there was a quartet playing. Good food with nice surroundings.

We enjoyed sitting outside for brunch. The restaurant was very busy and the food is relatively expensive, but that is to be expected because of the location. The falafel burger was good and the side salad served with it was nice, but nothing exceptional.

servers were distracted too many food runners and buzz boys but few waiters. Megan rhetorically manager on duty saved the service department. Food is pretty good and prices are right.

Great place to head for drinks in the evening. Delicious NY cheesecake, perfect drinks and really very nice staff. The music and atmosphere is also nice.

The menu outside stated that there were gluten free options available, but when asked I was told that there weren't any gluten free options, apart from vegetables or steak. The staff were attentive and friendly, but I wouldn't have chosen to eat here if I hadn't been misled by the outside information.

the food stinks for these prices.ji got a duck soba salad for lunch and i saw old crunchy "duck" something in my salad. they have nerve to charge for this crap. It could have been cat. nice ambience though if you are a tourist. but you are a fool to eat here. I would have enjoyed McDonalds better.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
