I ate at this restaurant and had fried whiting with French fries and yams. The fish was great and the yams were very good. The price was reasonable. Not a place for atmosphere but excellent. A friend had seared salmon and she loved it. She also had collard greens and peach cobbler. Both were very good. I would eat here... More

It took me a while to find this place and I thought it was closed down so I went to a fish and chip shop over the road!! I asked someone in the fish and chip were it was and he said opposite but by that time my partner had eaten!!! I was the lucky one!! The menu is large... More

We take the subway from the village to Harlem for the soul food here. We have tried Sylvia's and Manna's and always come back to Taste of Seafood. Food is great. Catfish is seasoned perfectly and batter is light and crispy. Best collard greens, okra and mac and cheese around and the sweet tea is perfect. Definitely finish your dinner... More

I don't stop by as often as I'd like because the line is always long. But that's a good thing. The food tasty and always hot. It's probably the best place in Harlem for friend seafood, especially for take away.

This is one of those places I always visit during my East Coast jaunts. The food is made to order, hence it is always fresh, but yes, you do have to wait. They are generally good about making sure the wait isn’t unbearable. I generally order the wings and greens, but I’ve had the fish before and it was fabulous.... More

If you want fresh fish and a great deal of it visit Taste of seafood. The food is good. The prices are good and the location on 125th street is good.

Maybe it was because I haven't had Soulfood and Seafood in a long time...no I doubt it! Their fried fish, mac-n-cheese, and collard greens were excellent! I'd definitely go back when I'm in town again!

I'm a Native New Yorker and I love to go to Taste of Seafood at least once a month. There is always a line because people love the southern cuisine served there. You may seat down to eat or just go there for take out. I would say about 75% of their customers go there for take out.
