We would certainly recommend the Red Flame to anyone! Or meals are were delivered quickly and our drinks were always full. Just had to order the lemon meringue pie because I've never seen that tall of meringue.

Grabbed a late lunch on a Christmas Saturday and it was crowded. They move people in and out quickly so the wait was short and the service quick. Greek emphasis on the menu and then regular diner fare. Gyro was very good as were wraps. Would stop in anytime.

While it has the typical diner menu it really is more of a cafe. It is very popular with local NYers, especially those who work in the area. It is also very popular with tourists . We like to go for a fast dinner before theatre . Service while fast can be spotty, even when they are not busy The... More

Fast and good, this dinner has all the usual treats (from club sandwiches to burgers to omelets and pancakes). The service was fast and prices reasonable. It's right beside the Algonquin Hotel on W. 44th. I would say it's one of the best diners we have eaten at in NYC--perhaps second only to the Cosmic Diner on 8th Avenue..

We ate breakfast here on most days as it was conveniently located for our hotel. We also ate dinner here on our first night in New York. Everything that we ate was served quickly and was always hot. It is a busy diner particularly with commuters on business days however they were always quick to sit people and we never... More

it can be crowdy but that is often a good sign of quality at reasonable prices. Choose anything from the menu anytime and you will receive good and tasty food. Service is extremely efficient and...most personnel works there already for many years which is another positive. For a quick bite, breakfast, dinner...perfect!

We ordered a couple of entrees, the chicken wrap and the open faced reuben. The food came to our table very quickly and were very good. Service was excellent, price was fair and both the lemon pie and carrot cake were also hits at our table.

opted for this place for breakfast as it was close to my hotel and had good reviews, but it's really just average. Barely so, to be honest. Neither does it have the atmosphere of a diner nor has it any traditional strappings. The food is so so ... Guess the prices make it attractive?

The Red Flame Restaurant is near Times Square and many hotels in that area. If your hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast, this is a great place to go. Food is good, prices are fair. Service is good.
