A must do when in the city

Great breakfast spot in the heart of the city! There is always a wait, so expect long lines as the food is terrific!

Very close to the hotel I stayed in. The food is decent. It's a diner that gets the job done. Not overpriced so you can get a real meal without breaking the piggy.

We thought this place was delicious. Great diner food and centrally located. It is no 5 star restaurant but it is a well run tasty NYC diner.

This was is one of the best run diners I have been to. First of all it is spotless. As soon as you are seated the coffee flows and they stay on before , during and after the meal. Good rich coffee to boot! Service is friendly and lightning fast. Breakfast choices are bountiful and our food was delicious. Prices... More

This is where everyone comes for after theater show snacks, meals, coffee, business, breakfast! The service is fast and courteous. The meals are homestyle good - choose Greek entrees, or classic American dishes. All very reasonably priced when you're trying to stick to a travel budget!

We ate breakfast here and I would say it was an ok meal. I got eggs benedict and it was average to say the best. The hollandaise sauce was too yellow and thick. Also, the breakfast potatoes were kind of mushy. I don't think I would go back. My husband got an arizona omelet and liked it. Perhaps I just... More

Omelet was over cooked. Potatoes were under cooked. Oatmeal was poor (not sure how you can screw up oatmeal.). Over priced for the lack of quality.

After being ripped off for sub standard food the night before, a bit of research led us here...and we were NOT disappointed. The place was an oasis from the traffic and noise. We arrived just before 6pm and the place was about empty. Within 20 minutes, it was hoppin. Even so, we ordered and about 5 min later we had... More

This is a clean diner, close to Times Square but without the noise! The prices are much better here than eating in Times Square and the food is plentiful and tasty. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

The place is always packed, and I'm not sure why. It is cheap, but there are many places with much better food for only slightly more.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
