We stopped here for lunch and were disappointed with the quality of the food and the attitude of our server. We felt as though we should apologize for interupting her day. With so many similar restaurants on the same street I wouldn't take the chance on this one.

We felt pressure to go in from the matre'd, but that is Little Italy with all of the restaurants. Food was very good, we ordered Caeser salad, margerita pizza, lasagna and fettucine alfredo (which was so delicious). A little pricey, but good portion sizes. we were charged for bottled water and only had tap, so after we got that dealt... More

We went to the location in Little Italy. We felt like we had been conned by stepping inside the place. They have a fake food board outside that lists some good looking meals at decent prices. When I asked about them - I was told that they were very small servings and it was better to order off the menu.... More

I felt like I was stepping into a tourist trap when I was there. Unfortunately my friend and I were pressed for time before a show so we picked Sophia's because it was close to the theater. The host was extremely rude, he had the nastiest face on when we walked in like we were bothering him. He then tried... More

Visited the one in Times Square. The food was terrible. Ordered a dish with sauteed chicken and it was boiled and tasted bad. The waiter never once provided us with refills of water and did not check on us at all. We had to stop him for our check, so he did not receive a tip. The portions are also... More

The atmosphere is timeless- could be Frank Sinatra will stop in for a drink or an after-show dinner. His kind of music is playing in the background, at least until the three piece combo arrives and the easy jazz piano/base/drums begin to play. The bartender and the maitre d' are pure New York - sort of surly, but underneath you... More

I've been to this restaurant before and it was really nice. So when we went to NYC with friends we went back. Never again! The staff are run off thier feet as there is not enough of them. The food is terrible. 3 out of the 4 water glasses on the tables had big chunks out of them and when... More
