Went there with a friend yesterday--usually weekend brunch lines wrap around the block ... but on Labor Day weekend the city is half-empty, and there was almost no wait. We ordered eggs and pancakes, everything was delicious. The waiter, though he was very busy, was cordial and overall prompt. It is a busy place, and don't expect fancy, but the... More

Stopped in for lunch. This is a small, quaint restaurant with a country, rustic type vibe/decor. Easy to get in during the week. Lines are wrapped around the building for Sunday brunch. I had a half order of the Mac and cheese and salad. They use several different cheeses in their dish. Very tasty! My husband had the BLT and... More

The food here tastes OK, but is slopped on the plate like a school cafeteria. Also once you get in (long lines most mornings, and always at weekends) you may wish you'd made the effort to cook breakfast at home. Overworked, lackluster waitstaff. Under seasoned food. Stay home, cook eggs yourself for a fraction of the price. Cramped seating. Hurry... More

Very good restaurant. Staff very kind. Typical American food. Sandwich, hamburger, potatoes and eggs in different way.

This was our second trip to the establishment. First time was OK which made us want to try it again. We made reservations at 5:30 thru open table. We were the first and only people in the restaurant. My wife and I with a sleeping baby in a stroller. The host set us right away since the place was completely... More

We had breakfast here whilst on holiday in New York on recommendation from our guide book for the cinnamon french toast. Although the service was slow, (which was frustrating as we had our day planned and wanted to get started!) when the food arrived it was worth waiting for! I had the cinnamon french toast (delicious!) and my husband had... More

My family and I stopped here for brunch to start out our vacation get a way in NYC. We ordered pancakes, waffles, omelettes, home fries, and bacon. It was all seriously delicious. Not sure where they get that bacon but it was the best bacon I ever had in my life! Service was great. We will be back.

Always outstanding - love their food!!! Weekends are a bit frantic so try week day mornings. Order anything on the menu - you won't be disappointed.

After we were seated in a side table, it took the team 20 min to address us. The food took 45 minutes to arrive with multiple reminders from 'hungry us'. The food finally arrived with no apologies or addressing the ridiculous delay. I used to be a regular with the restaurant for several years. The portion was much smaller than... More

I live right around the corner from this place, and have been for both brunch and dinner a number of times. The place is very consistent: 1) The food is very good, especially the brunch (go for the bacon waffles... do it). 2) The service is below average. I've actually noticed that the wait staff turns over quite a bit,... More
