Proper thin pizzas, good value prices, more wines to choose from than you would have thought possible

Very disappointing experience, everything in menu sounds good and looks good but the taste is not what i was expecting from Otto. Had a few appetizers, pizza and over all non of us were happy with our food at all. Maybe the disappointment comes from the fact that there are many outstanding Italian restaurants in NYC and Toronto these days... More

Stay away from this sad excuse for a restaurant. We are regulars and were treated very rudely this evening. Won't be going back. This place does not know the meaning of service and loyalty.

We enjoyed our pizzas, olives, green beans, and everything we ate here. It was all very good. Fresh and tasty.Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. It is family friendly. I like the music played...David Bowie and the like. Good food and reasonable prices. I would eat here again anytime!

I was expecting really great things from Otto, but it really wasn't all that good. The food is okay, but there are much better choices for Italian in the city. The place is REALLY noisy, you won't be able to hear yourself think, at all and you definitely won't be able to hear anyone else in your party talk either,... More

Being a Mario Batali restaurant, one would expect great things. I was quite disappointed. The restaurant is very, very, very loud, difficult to hear my friends and we were only a table of 4. Our appetizers were pretty good, but the dinner was definitely not up to par. The best thing ordered was the pizza that was on the specials... More

I have only been to Otto once before and that was for lunch and I ordered pizza. We decided to dine at Otto for dinner last night at the spur of the moment. It was around 8p at the height of dinner and the place was packed and very noisy. I know there are some who like an energetic atmosphere... More

We went there for a post wedding lunch so we only ate what the bride and groom ordered, meat and cheese platers, pizza, etc., so what can we really say about that? Food was fresh. But what wowed us was the SERVICE. We had our 7 month old with us and he wasn't fussy by any standards but it was... More

When you are in Manhattan, eating at a restaurant owned by a famous chef you expect the prices to be on the high side, but that's not the case with Otto. The prices are totally reasonable ($11-$15 for pasta entrees) and the food is delicious! I had the spinach salad with truffle honey and then the goat cheese angolotti. Both... More
