I love Mario Batali and have made it a personal mission to eat at all his restaurants. Otto Enoteca and Pizzeria in the Village is a wonderful and lively family-friendly restaurant with an impressive wine list. The staff was extremely well trained and worked fluidly as a team. I can't wait to try my hand at making the spinach salad... More

We enjoyed our dinner here. We chose the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it was delicious! Cucumber watermelon salad was very refreshing after a long day of sight seeing. Great service. Extensive wine list.

They can do so much better than this! The business idea is great, train station included, and good are location, style, design. What they miss is noise-absorbing panels on the ceiling and a good pizzaiolo at the oven. Pasta and other dishes are excellent, perfectly cooked - dear Americans complaining for uncooked pasta, that's right al Dente . The pizza... More

Generous portions and delicious. We were touring lower Manhattan and wanted something to eat on our way back to midtown. We found this in the mid afternoon so after lunch rush and before dinner rush. Not crowded. Wait staff....kind of friendly but I am overly friendly so my expectations are high. Extensive wine list. I had the arugula salad...it was... More

Went to Otto during a bachelor party weekend with 5 other friends. Reservations were easy to get (they have lots of seats) and they have a bar area where you can try some of their signature cocktails while you wait for your table (try the "Blood Orange" cocktail, it's the best one). The table we were seated at was a... More

Tried Mario Battali's "Otto" and liked. Had several small plates -- prosciutto, beets, lentils, olives, and the spinach salad with ricotta, truffle and honey. Probably the best salad I've ever tasted. No. Really. The Best Salad. Crusty, chewy, delicious bread. Excellent. We should've ordered more but we were full.

I always stop at Otto when visiting Manhattan. Delicious food, great pasta and nice selection of cheeses. There are also some original offers on the menu. For example the watermelon and cucumber salad was originally tasteful. The only negative point is that the place is loud so it is hard to have a conversation with the person you are with.

This is my second time in Otto and its just gets better and better. We were quite lucky that we always get a reservation. We were a big group of 8 and they put is on a corner table that was quite cozy. The highlight for me is the truffle and egg pizza. I have ordered this before and its... More

Well. Tried first night. No chance of a table for 2 hours. Should have stopped then. Tried to book next night but no reservation allowed as they kept a third of the room free for walk ins. Arrived at 8.45 and told to wait at the standing bar?!?. Ordered drinks and then called through after 20 mins but then stopped... More

I went here based on some glowing reviews - maybe my expectations were too high, but I found the food nice (but nothing to rave about) and service to be average. We ordered 2 pizzas and only received one - I had to bring this to the staffs attention twice before it got resolved. Even little things like salt and... More
