This place is a family tradition, we always visit during a trip to NYC. The area is awesome, NYU and Washington Square right around the corner! We really go there to get a really good bottle of wine and the pizza, and the best of all...their elaborate gelato list (olive oil is my favorite).

Came here for a meal with some friends from the city, absolutely loved all the food we had! Shared some starters, salads and different breads with oil, all exquisite. Then we each had a different pizza all of which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, followed by a few different flavours of ice cream (everybody should try the olive oil... More

After walking around in cold, it was nice to come inside to warm space. The feeling is comfortable. Tables are nicely spaced and the restaurant is larger than one would think from the outside. The wine is list long and has great choices. Our server was helpful. The verdures, which we had as appetizers are excellent and the spinach salad... More

Good food and reasonably priced. Lovely red wine. We met friends who live in New York there for dinner and they recommended it. It is a good meeting place and gets quite full. It is popular so need to book.

Went here with family and friends whilst in NYC. Starters were nice but my pizza wasn't great. The server recommended me a more expensive wine. And that wasn't to my taste either. Value for money though for what you get. Won't come again.

My 21st birthday meal was spent here at Otto, on walking in it was very busy and the decor was lovely. We were seated right away despite being a bit early for our reservation. The mozzarella pesto starter was beautiful, I totally recommend it. I had the pepperoni pizza, and other members of my party had the ravioli and carbonara.... More

food is almost average in quality but high price. Son not feeling well I went for a pizza to go and they were so rude and condescending. First person dismissed me to someone else as he rolled his eyes at me. Gal who took my order never ever looked up at me. Came back in 20 min as they said... More

Went to Otto after skating in Bryant Park. What a great place! Started with the nicest glass of Valpocelli ever, then had anchovies, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower (3 separate items). My girls all had pizza, two four cheese with fried egg and one white with black pepper. And we even had room for dessert. Wonderful outing.

A year ago my wife and I scheduled a tasting at Otto before leaving the hotel. We then went out for the day and upon arrival at Otto we found the class had been canceled. The restaurant had tried to contact us at the hotel but the message did not get to us. Otto moved us to the next class... More
