This is a fun family place that gets crowded but if it wasn't for Mario Batali's involvement I doubt this place would be still in business. The pizza was good but forgettable, pasta was mediocre. It obviously wasn't fresh pasta and tasted as satisfying as dried pasta Id make at home with a jar of ragu. Wasn't a terrible dinner,... More

We stumbled in here yesterday afternoon for some wine and pizza. It was empty, which was totally fine, but very dark and boa in terms of ambiance. The music though - was quite good. And I really appreciate that! But for the million plus pizza places in Manhattan i'd say this doesn't hit the top of my list. So what... More

Just had a delicious meal here. Simple and really tasty - pizza with a thin and crispy base and just enough topping - as good as any pizza I've eaten in Italy!

This is a Mario Batali restaurant with relatively simple Italian dishes. We shared the Romaine and red onion salad,an Otto chopped salad, roasted beets, cauliflower, Pasta alla Norma, and the Ravioli di Brasato. All nicely prepared with some Q R Morellino red wine. Marco, our server was extremely attentive and pleasant and made our dinner more enjoyable. A busy fun... More

The food here is inexpensive and trendy. We had 3 different vegetables first for appetizers which were cooked in strange sauces. Not Birdseye. For dinner we had a pizza and 3 pasta dishes to share. I didn't care for the tomato sauce - two of us at the table both said Chef Boyardee at the same time after tasting. Guess... More

We had an awesome experience! We were wandering around the village looking for some Thai food, and stumbled upon Otto instead. SO glad we did! Our waitress was fabulous; Attentive, but not annoying, with great suggestions. We had all special items, ordering several small plates and splitting them. Great value for the quality of food and service! Awesome location too.

We were a party of eight that met at Otto on a Sunday night. Be advised that this restaurant only seats complete parties; we had to wait in the bar until everyone arrived, and there was no place to sit. There are a few stools at the bar, but they were taken. We had to stand at bar tables. Luckily... More

I went to Otto with a family that ranged from my 6-year-old cousin to my grandmother. Everyone loved the food and the great service made the experience even better. We ended up sharing several different thin crust pizzas and each one was delicious (try the one with clams!) We also shared several deserts, including the awesome Black and White and... More

Our table was actually vibrating from the bass part of the too-loud "background" music. Im sure the food was okay but the atmosphere was the opposite of what one seeks for a social occasion.

Italian wine lovers, this is a great happy hour or dinner restaurant. Friendly servers and knowledgeable bartenders about Italian wine. Mario is a friendly entrepreneur who is very down to earth. Welcomes customers and it asked for a picture with an ease. Food sis delicious
