I was craving for gourmet pizza, so my daughter recommended Otto Enoteca Pizzeria owned by Iron Chef Mario Batali located at 5th Avenue, New York. The restaurant has a warm ambiance for a nice and decent family dinner. Their house white wine was good and reasonably priced at $38/bottle. We ordered their best sellers--duck pizza, pepperoni, and pasta linguini and... More

I have now been to Otto twice, most recently a couple of days ago for lunch. It was a good time to go, because it was not at all crowded and we were seated immediately. Three out of four of us were happy with the food. Mine was especially good: goat cheese agnolotti with a lemony butter sauce. Two people... More

My family loved the food and atmosphere. We would definitely go there again when we are in town. My daughter's friend goes there every time she goes to New York so we had to check it out ourselves are were very happy we did.

Finally got to this restaurant in 1 of my annual visits to NYC. Arrived & given a "train ticket" to an Italian city so we can wait by the bar as our table wasn't just ready. Love this as you wait & look at a mini sign board that "announces" your train has arrived so you know your table is... More

I tried a "pasta alla norma" and I have to say that it was really prepared following the original italian recipe (maybe the cheese was slightly different than usual ricotta). I also appreciate the "al dente" side, that unfortunately many foreigners consider simply under under-cooked. I was really impressed by the wine list, a great selection of the best wines... More

I love Mario Batali and have made it a personal mission to eat at all his restaurants. Otto Enoteca and Pizzeria in the Village is a wonderful and lively family-friendly restaurant with an impressive wine list. The staff was extremely well trained and worked fluidly as a team. I can't wait to try my hand at making the spinach salad... More

We enjoyed our dinner here. We chose the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it was delicious! Cucumber watermelon salad was very refreshing after a long day of sight seeing. Great service. Extensive wine list.

They can do so much better than this! The business idea is great, train station included, and good are location, style, design. What they miss is noise-absorbing panels on the ceiling and a good pizzaiolo at the oven. Pasta and other dishes are excellent, perfectly cooked - dear Americans complaining for uncooked pasta, that's right al Dente . The pizza... More

Generous portions and delicious. We were touring lower Manhattan and wanted something to eat on our way back to midtown. We found this in the mid afternoon so after lunch rush and before dinner rush. Not crowded. Wait staff....kind of friendly but I am overly friendly so my expectations are high. Extensive wine list. I had the arugula salad...it was... More

Went to Otto during a bachelor party weekend with 5 other friends. Reservations were easy to get (they have lots of seats) and they have a bar area where you can try some of their signature cocktails while you wait for your table (try the "Blood Orange" cocktail, it's the best one). The table we were seated at was a... More
