We went here with a friend of ours who recommended this restaurant and absolutely loved it. For New York City the prices are very good(pasta for about $10) and the food is really good. The wine was one of the best we had in the US also. We were pleasantly surprised by this and might return on our next visit.

We were there for a late lunch, so the place was quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent bread. Really nice pasta and pizza with a reasonable price for wine. Would not hesitate to eat there again

Wow....so looking forward to visiting your restaurant as have gone to all the others. What a disappointment....we went with two couples and not one of us enjoyed the meal. You really need to get involved in Otto....because the concept is great. We had pizza, salad, pasta dishes...not one was really good. I had the carbonara and house salad. I make... More

Great food, Good Service, Nice Facility, Excellent Prices for food and drinks. What more could you ask for in New York City. I can see why this is a very popular place and we would go back anytime. It is nice to see an eating establishment that works so hard to provide both an excellent value and great experience in... More

We went here for a pizza! The concept of the restaurant is really nice! The pizza is not the best but still good, very thin and crispy! The service was impeccable and really fast! The price was also good. The location is great. It is a little bit too noisy!

We had a late (3:00) lunch, so the place was quiet (except for the repeating tape loop of opera greatest hits). The staff was friendly and attentive. Excellent bread. Amazing mushroom pizza; also clam pizza. My daughter didn't like having to pick the clams out of the shell, but that's standard. The eggplant caponatina was excellent; we had to ask... More

We went there the other night. Expectations were high because we are fans of Mario Batali. Food was OK but notore than that. Staff were friendly, but the Noise! The place is so noisy even by American Standard. The memory we take is the noise!!!

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
