excellent pasta alla norma, pizza and other pasta dishes also good

I had the alla norma, and the tomato sauce was absolutely magnificent, would have eaten more if I could have stuffed it in! The Buffulo Riccotto was smooth and tasty, the eggplant pieces not over cooked and the basil was a good addition to the dish. I had to sop it up with the bread, which was... read more

Finally stopped by for a weekend lunch. The hostess was clueless, it's only when a supervisor stepped in that we were seated (in a nearly empty restaurant) The staff (top to bottom) needs to be trained. The pizzas looked lifeless and bland, so we decided not to order them. Instead we ordered some side dishes, salads, starters, and a pasta.... More

Me and my girlfriend went here for lunch. The food was amazing. I especially liked their selection of cheeses. And also their wine selection is really good they have a lot of bottles to chose from.

Our family ate here once during our Spring Break trip. The restaurant was recommended by friends who travel to New York. Unfortunately our dinner was only average. The restaurant was loud and the service a bit condescending. The pizza had a weird taste and no-one at our table could eat it. The penne pasta dishes (we ordered two different ones)... More

Stopped by Otto with friends this weekend. The staff was great. They offered good suggestions and were very friendly. The cheese plate was delicious as was the pork shoulder pasta. I wasn't impressed with the pizza. So overall, I liked my meal but with all the great food options in NYC I won't rush back.

This place is a family tradition, we always visit during a trip to NYC. The area is awesome, NYU and Washington Square right around the corner! We really go there to get a really good bottle of wine and the pizza, and the best of all...their elaborate gelato list (olive oil is my favorite).

Came here for a meal with some friends from the city, absolutely loved all the food we had! Shared some starters, salads and different breads with oil, all exquisite. Then we each had a different pizza all of which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, followed by a few different flavours of ice cream (everybody should try the olive oil... More

After walking around in cold, it was nice to come inside to warm space. The feeling is comfortable. Tables are nicely spaced and the restaurant is larger than one would think from the outside. The wine is list long and has great choices. Our server was helpful. The verdures, which we had as appetizers are excellent and the spinach salad... More

Good food and reasonably priced. Lovely red wine. We met friends who live in New York there for dinner and they recommended it. It is a good meeting place and gets quite full. It is popular so need to book.

Went here with family and friends whilst in NYC. Starters were nice but my pizza wasn't great. The server recommended me a more expensive wine. And that wasn't to my taste either. Value for money though for what you get. Won't come again.
