Found this by accident . Standard American food done well and reasonable prices. They only serve there own beers. The lager was greAt . Watched a few World Cup games while the family shopped and we eat on one occasion rally enjoyed!

Great selection of beers for an American restaurant and a very original place near Times Square. The apricot ale was my favourite and i also recommend the beer tasting wheel. The food was also good I had the special. The steak had a pepper crust and fell apart in my mouth, my partner went for Mac and cheese which was... More

It was our second time to New York City, and I have to say I"m in love with the town. After walking all day we decided to rest and have a drink. The bartenders where polite but not really friendly, I had to call them everytime for our re-fills, which gave me the impression they weren't very attentive, plus the... More

Wanted American style food instead of more Italian food on the way to the theater so decided to try this spot. Steaks were pretty bland and my husband's was over cooked. Service was pretty indifferent. We won't look to return.

Group of us booked for an evening meal and found both food and service excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food and I particularly loved the gumbo washed down with a few beers. Heartland also do deep fried pickles, sounds so wrong but taste Devine. Beer and wine choices gave everyone something. Would recommend

At the point we ate here we'd been in NYC for the best part of a week. Typical tourists, we'd done bagels, pizzas & pretzels. (swerved the street vendors hot dogs, just couldn't do it.) We'd tried everything from formal dining with views to a sandwich bar on the lower east side. This place was like a little oasis. Not... More

Wonderful meal! Great service and got us out in record time so that we could make our show on Broadway! Enjoyed the IPA beer, filet and the eggplant--a nice vegetarian option for being a steakhouse!

My wife and I decided to have a lunch here before we saw a play across the street. It was a Saturday, we entered and there was only two other tables . There is an upstairs and down stairs I did not know that at the time but the Downstairs was full of people. Anyhow the service was so great... More
