First of all - beautiful food! The steaks are cooked to perfection, as are the burgers. But it's the little things that really let this place shine - serving water for you as well as your drink and, most notably, the chef bring out your food and knowing who ordered what without having to ask! The place is lovely with... More

I'm lost for words - the ribs are the tastiest I've ever experienced. I was really surprised to find such a good selection of real ales in NY and nice to see them experiment with pumpkin. I am a Brit and amatuer brewer, so know a little bit about ales and these were very good. I can't wait to go... More

For beer or food fans this is a great place. Close to the theatres and time square the food is reasonably priced and the selection of real ales is good. The sample platter of ales is a good way to spend some time or as a "side order" with the delicious meals. Definitely on my list of places to eat... More

Brewery with just ok beer? The IPA was dull, the Christmas ale was not that "spiced". The food was awesome tasty, delectable, at least the 5 appetizers we had were. I stressed to my family, no chain restaurants. Too bad, I know what I could have got at them. Again, just OK...

Wow... First night of our most recent NYC visit, and while standing in by the police kiosk in Times Square, I looked around for someplace to eat. First to catch my eye was the Hard Rock. Looked the opposite direction (thank goodness) and saw the big Heartland Brewery neon sign. My wife and I eyed the menu from outside... Good... More

We always head to the Heartlands Brewery when we visit NY particularly near Halloween as they do a great pumpkin ale. Never had a complaint and I've been going to them for five years. The food is pretty much standard American meals that won't leave you hungry. We turned up at 10:45pm one night and ordered food as they stop... More

We stopped in for a beer and returned the next evening for dinner after looking at the menu. The fried pickles were wonderful. I had the pumpkin ravioli and it was fantastic. Fresh pumpkin, hazelnuts, and a creamy parmigiano sauce. The staff was nice enough bit seemed put out when we asked for a booth instead of a small table,... More

I stopped in for a beer and a app. It was about 2 and it was pretty empty. I sat at the bar and the bartender came over quickly wit a menu and coaster. I ordered a beer, one of theirs and the Buffalo egg rolls. He thought they were our of them so he asked the manager who was... More

Great beer....the Red Rooster went down well with my large, excellent ribeye steak. My daughter loved the ribs and my wife enjoyed the fish taco. Evening of the marathon and quite a few tired and hungry runners were tucking in. I recommend this and the other Heartland houses in New York for great food and excellent craft beer

We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, which is just across the street via a passageway between 42nd and 43rd streets. On our last night in town, after several disappointing meals, we wandered across the street because it was close and easy. We were seated right away, even though we didn't have reservations, and we ended up having one... More
