One of the few casual chophouses in the Times Square area, this Heartland Brewery combines the rich character of a steakhouse from yesteryear with a modern restaurant sensibility. In addition to a beer-friendly menu specializing in Black Angus beef, you'll find a museum quality collection of pre-Prohibition beer artifacts, including back-bar sculptures, trays, and photographs. Three spacious private dining rooms, all of which have their own separate bars, are available for parties.

Dependable Burger In Midtown NYC

I was looking for a decent burger near my midtown NYC office. I found the burger to be pretty good, the staff was pleasant and if you shut your eyes, you wouldn't know that you were one block from Times Square!

Nothing special , pricey and full of tourist. Bar are tenders not particularly friendly. Standard bar food and burgers. Beer is ok. If your are near time square and want a quick beer go for it. but I would not go out of my way to seek out this place..enjoy

We used Open Table off the TripAdvisor site to book a reservation. We're staying at a hotel near Times Square. We were greeted by a hostess that quickly sat us at a table of our choosing. Isabelle our server quickly introduced herself and took our order. The beers arrived quickly and we ordered the Chip and Dip. This is basically... More

Had wonderful service and delicious meals from this place. Just a little pricey for the portion size.

My wife and I looked at the menu and decided that it looked like a great steakhouse for dinner. We walked in and immediately noticed it was not very busy for being around 7:30-8:00 on a Friday. Two of the four chairs were sticky and had food on them. We ordered drinks from the bar and then our food. My... More

A pretty average place. The wings were great and so were the drafts. But the waiter got my wing order wrong and he told me they had boneless but they didn't. The women's bathroom had a bloody piece of toilet paper on the floor. It was a fairly quiet place with a neat bar.

They brew their own and it's quite good. I sampled two beers and had a hamburger. All three were good, as was the service. They have a bigger venue nearby at the Port Authority terminal.

We had a family get together since we were visiting NYC,with 8 people including 10-16 year old children, and we had a very good lunch and excellent service. We had called ahead and they had everything ready when we all arrived from different locations in the City.

Beer was ok. Started with the IPA. It was acceptable but not great. No hop aroma; an ok amount of hop bitterness; not bad. The seasonal peach beer was meh. A little homebrewy--as in, it could use a little more settling time--tasted a bit young. The ribs were absolutely awful. Inedible. Obviously boiled and drenched in super sweet bbq sauce.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
