Best raw food in NYC

Had lunch there in the garden with a few friends. Every single thing from the menu that we tried was super delicious. Would definitely recommend this place and will go again myself.

I was an invited guest, likely would not have eaten here otherwise, but tried the salad of arugula with black berries and pistachios. Two dressing options were provided, one mustard-based and the other a very nice reduced balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was very good. Several in my party ordered the "lasagna" with zucchini and heirloom tomatoes. The taste was unusual,... More

Vegan, gluten free, uncooked food that is so delicious we bought the cook-book. Delightful garden at the back as well as nice sidewalk tables.

We booked a patio table but the weather did not cooperate with us. This was my first true vegetarian restaurant as we had some true vegan's in our group. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and amazed that some of the rich sauces had no creme. I am not from New York as I was in town for business... More

I enjoyed pure food and wine very much. The food is delicious and fresh. The service is friendly and professional. The ambience upscale without being pretentious. For me personally though, I felt the food was a little too heavy.

The good: Waiter and bartender very good and attentive. Love the outdoor garden but not scenic enough as its in a well of apartment buildings. Food very fresh and not overly seasoned. The bad: Greeters not very friendly and snooty. Require full party to be seated - a very archaic rule, and not a requirement for establishments that place customers... More

First of all, being able to eat 99% of the menu of a restaurant (having food allergies), is like being in heaven. I can seriously have whatever I want?? Amazing! That never happens at a restaurant. Hands down, some of the BEST dishes I think I have ever had. Looking at the menu, you want to order one of everything.... More

Tired of the noisy streets and the stacks of meat you get in most restaurants? Then this might be something for you. A quiet and cosy garden terrace in the back accompanied by super vegan food and a nice selection of wines by the bottle or glass.

Before I met my friends for lunch in this restaurant I was a touch skeptical, having been to several vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the past I always found them uninspiring with the usual choices of dishes with the same flavours and fillings to compensate for whatever that is not part of a vegetarian or vegan diet. And then came... More

They have such a wide variety of the most delicious vegan foods and Eco conscious wines - it's close to union square so easily accessible - the ambience and outdoor garden seating are lovely . I would recommended vegan and meat eaters a like to try this place out. We need more places this pure !
