One of my favorites

They have such a wide variety of the most delicious vegan foods and Eco conscious wines - it's close to union square so easily accessible - the ambience and outdoor garden seating are lovely . I would recommended vegan and meat eaters a like to try this place out. We need more places this pure !

This restaurant is known for lasagne. Of course, it didn't have any meat or cheese. However, the presentation was excellent and it had a lot of flavor. We sat on the outside patio in the back of the restaurant. It was a charming setting with lights hanging from the trees on a warm October evening. It was truly a memorable... More

All I can say is the lasagne and kombucha on tap. What more could one want? Loved our lunch at Pure and can't wait to return again soon. Perfect place if you are looking for organic, healthy and delicious food. Even meat eaters will find something on this menu.

Excellent vegan food, and extremely varied menu. As relatively new vegans, my wife and I were looking for a few places to try in NYC. This was fantastic! A bit pricey, but worth it! And, the waiter gave us the menus so we could try to replicate!

Visiting NYC recently, I thought it would be great and was willing to pay top dollar to have an "out of this world" raw dining experience, but was sorely disappointed. The Tree Nut cheeses were bland, the pollenta was dominated by an uncooked corn flavor and the curried vegetables were uninspired. The tacos and tamales were also ordered at our... More

We visited this restaurant on our last day in New York and by god, we're glad we did. The juices, the food, the service, all impeccable. It's so wonderful as a vegan with gluten intolerance to visit such a beautiful restaurant and have a sublime meal. Highly recommend the Nachos!!!!!

I went here to celebrate an anniversary and we had such an amazing time. The service was excellent and the food was amazing and so interesting. I loved the lasagna and the ice cream sundae!

My partner and I had lunch at Pure Food and Wine. The service was excellent - friendly and attentive without being overbearing - and the food was interesting and delicious. The mulled wine in particular was amazing. I really liked the decor and atmosphere as well - classy but not snooty, private without being cave-like. I wish we had been... More

This restaurant leaved me speechless. The food was completely vegan and gluten free, and the desserts were also refined sugar free. The flavor, though, was fantastic. I'll certainly go back to try the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (all made without dairy). It's my new fav in New York.

Pure Food and Wine is unlike any other restaurant in NYC. It is vegan, and live food, but unlike most vegan places, rather than try to make traditional recipes sans the meat, chicken, cheese, etc, they create true live food entries and appetizers that cannot be made any other way. While some dishes are better than others, we have never... More
