Cozy Spot for Date Night Dinner

With no kids in tow, my honey and I stopped into Friend of a Farmer for a Friday Night dinner. Given the option of indoor or outdoor seating, we opted for the air conditioned upstairs dining. The dining room is cozy, with a country feel. It was not very crowded between 7-8PM, though I could see how... read more

The atmosphere was set well, giving the homey old time farm impression. The food was OK but the prices were not justified. Not terrible, just so-so for a bad price. Perhaps my mistake was going there for dinner. It is possible that the breakfast or brunch would be better, but I don't think I'll go stand in line for an... More

Do you want fresh food, excellent service, casual atmosphere? We found this place on a lovely evening and sat outdoors along the planted herbs. The food was delicious. If you are in the Gramercy area, come here for a meal. You will Not be disappointed.

If you have the time and patience to queue up for a spot at breakfast....it's definitely something you won't regret! Really fresh amazing produce with great service. They do an amazing version of eggs benedict but with with crab! If you like crab, this is something that is a must try! The fresh juices are pricey but really worth it!

I went here for breakfast one morning and went back again the following day because it was so good. Great location, great waitstaff, great quality foods. The first morning I had corned beef hash and scrambled eggs, and the second morning the eggs with bacon and apple pancakes. All very tasty. Highly recommended!

I liked the atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff and the wonderful food. My niece (local NYC) brought me here because it was her favorite neighborhood restaurant.

Found this restaurant by chance while visiting Greenwich Village. What a find. We had a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere. I had the very best Shepard's pie that I'v ever had (and I've eaten them all over the UK over the years!!). Can't wait to go back and try the chicken pot pie. We understand that it is the... More

The line was long at 11am on a Sunday, but it went by quickly. Brunch was delicious; the perfect spot! It's a little crowded upstairs but so homey and a great vibe. Highly recommend.
