Dean & Delucas -- delicious

This is a terrific eatery and food store in lower Manhattan several blocks from Canal Street on Broadway. The foods are fresh, the selection is enormous, and the employees are courteous and helpful. Be sure to stop in here. You won't regret it!

We found Dean and Deluca to be a mixed bag! We went back a number of times on very cold days for the wonderful soup (especially the Jerusaleum Artichoke) but had a truly dreadful canele and a coffee so bitter that I had to bin it immediately!

Unbelievable selection of pastries, cheese, bread, candy or anything else you can think of, this is more than a cafe. A must visit if you are a foodie in Manhattan, it can be overwhelming!

So many options, pastries, sweets and hot drinks. With no doubt a great place to go when you are hungry for breakfast or tea time. Take some time to walk around the store and check all the products and foods that they sell, you will probably get tempted to buy some of thems.

If you’re a foodie, you’ll love this stop in SoHo New York. My usual encounter with Dean & Deluca elsewhere in the world tends to be smaller stores and cafes serving yummy sandwiches. But this store here is delectable. After all, this is where it all began for them. Get fresh sandwiches, taste its amazing pastry selection that’s to die... More

We so enjoyed browsing through the different sections of the beautifully displayed store. Yes, the prices may be a bit high but the quality is high as well. We bought the assorted goat and cow cheeses and they were superb. I wish I knew which ones were in the container. The juices were unique and quite delicious. We didn't purchase... More

I love to visit and check our gourmet groceries. Dean & DeLuca was just an average gourmet grocery in my opinion. The interior and displays are very attractive but better prices are to be had elsewhere in the city. The employee who checked me out was also too busy discussing weekend events with another employee and not providing her customers... More

We go to D & De L every time we are in NY. We usually love it. Issues we found this time: - definitely over priced - coffees no good and certainly not comparable with the thousands of delicious independent coffee shops around NY - no real cosy place where to sit and eat But the general quality of the... Very cool, trendy, upscale grocery store that carries a price premium as well. They have truly unique offerings like sauces and spices you would only find in Europe, though they have a high premium. The stands with pastries and coffee are also very nice. Great place to find something interesting and unique.
