I've lived in Manhattan almost 20 years. Sadly I have just found this gem now. Can't say a bad thing about it. Food is amazing. Prices equally as good by NYC standards. Went with a group of 7. We were treated by the owner like we have been patronizing the place for years. I think this is my 5th review... More

We stumbled across this beautiful place while out shopping in the East Village.I noticed they had champion's league football on their large TV,Manchester United were playing later so I asked would they have the game on.Luckily all the staff were Italian and big football fans (Lazio not Roma!!).We called back, Peroni on draft and it was happy hour.We sat at... We arrived an hour late for our table ... and there was no fuss or hassle ... the guys had our table waiting and a smile. The place was full of atmosphere and buzzing with life. The interior is cosy and relaxed. Service was friendly and quick and the food was fantastic. Would really recommend this for a relaxed meal... More

It was quite quiet at lunchtime when we arrived but we had been recommended to try this place. The lunchtime menu is quite small but all the food we had was very tasty - can highly recommend the lasagne. We had a piece of cheesecake to share for dessert and also tried the Italian hot chocolate - this was like... More

All I can say about this place is excellent service from the waiter today at brunch. The food came out nice and hot and was delicious. I highly recommend the place and hope you get the waiter I got today.

Ambiance a was all we expected, service did not miss a beat. Young energetic diners added to the overall experience. We both had homemade pasta dishes, the gnocchi is amongst the best we have had, the fettucini was a 9/10. Wine list had some great regional Italian reds and whites and the prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend panna... More

We were a party of four about 7pm on a Sat evening and just beat the crowds. The dining room is small (crowded and quite loud when full) but diners and staff were friendly and accomodating for food service. I agree with so many other reviewers about the bruschetta. Order one of each! Each of our pasta dishes were delicious... More

Not as if we have a shortage of italian food in the east village. However a visit to Via del Pace is a little like visiting a cosy trattoria in Roma. Soccer is playing on the TV over the bar, many of the staff and visitors are chatting noisily in italian, the furniture is worn comfortably and the food is... More

Definitely wrong place to be there to have lunch and wine. We waited around 15 minutes to sit. There were only 2 waiters for maybe 15 table. After we sit they served two glass of water and there was lipstick on one of the glasses!!! Then we started to wait to give our order but after 15 minutes we decided... More

Hi Guner, sorry if we just reply to your review. First thing first i want to apologize for what happened. For the 15 minutes waiting to sit we think it s a pretty fair time according to the New York standards for a busy night with no reservation. I really hope there will be another chance to host you in... More

Very small place with good Italian fare and upbeat atmosphere. They take reservations and it was packed. Downside; cash only.
