Someone told me about the cannoli here and I'm a sucker for a good cannoli. I have to say, it was the best I've had and I've eaten some good ones from bakeries in South Philly. This place is a total tourist trap. They were carting in busloads of tourists as if it were some kind of attraction--perhaps it used to be. The tables and floors were filthy, the bathroom was disgusting and the pastries looked terrific but were THE WORST I have ever eaten. Checked out the Internet for reviews on Bleeker Street bakeries and up came Rocco's Pastry so after dinner at John's Pizzeria (another place not to miss), we headed to Roccos....well, let's say, my mouth is watering at the thought of the freshly filled cannoli and the creme brulee', and the rum baba's we indulged ourselves on...the best cannoli in the... more

Their pastries are awesome. Our City Sights tour guide recommended this place, and after stopping by there, I saw why. I got a cannoli, and my daughter got a cream puff. The cream puff was so good, I wish I had one now! more

Our tour bus operator recommended this bakery, and you could tell it would be good by the line coming out the door.
