This is the place to go in NYC if you want a rude waiter who doesn't listen and argues when they get it wrong. Had it not been for the wonderful maitre'ds intervention we would have walked out. And, yes, the prices are astronomic. Examples--tiny Bombay Sapphire martini at $22 and not made according to request. Salads begin at $20... More

My wife and I ate here and were really happy with it. She had the veal paso bucolic, I had the chicken. Both really tasty dishes. They made good mojitos, too. Lots of locals were eating here, which gave the feeling that it was a cozy, neighbourhood type of restaurant on the corner of Central Park.

What you are paying when you go to this restaurant is the location, that's all. As for food goes, it's above average (we will give them this) but not that much to pay almost $30 for a regular and simple salad. Additionally, I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc and what they brought me just wasn't it. I have never... More

As someone who has traveled to Italy far too many times, and been to Harry's Bar in Venice, I wonder about this incarnation to the Cipriani franchise. The bar at this 5th Ave restaurant accommodates 2-3 guests at best, its that tiny. Yet, Jose' is a great barman and you'd love to idle away the time with a few cocktails,... More

Very attentive wait staff and excellent food. Items are expensive but the food was superb. 20% discount for hotel guests.

Not so much to say but simply the best. Expensive but food is delicious, and service on top. Compare to other places in NYC this is worth every dollar. A must every time in NYC.

I would like to tell you about one of the most unsatisfactory experiences I have ever encountered in a restaurant, whether in New York, New Jersey or around the globe. I am a frequent visitor to the city and often end the day by eating at some of the city’s finer establishments. I had never been to Cipriani’s but because... More

I went to Harry Cipriani many years ago when it opened in New York. It was great, classy with delicious simple northern italian food. Pricey but good and consistent with a good looking crowd. I went recently and a few changes in the menu makes it less authentic that it used to be. The service and the food was good... More

This was suggested by a friend who couldn't wait to take me here. We went for lunch and I couldn't not have been more pleased with the whole experience, from the service to the food. We had a shaved brusselsprout salad (that I have tried to replicate at home and compare anything similar to this one dish), pasta dishes, and... More

Harry's is stuck in another place in time. Food was so so, but just be aware you're in the epicentre of cost in Manhattan.
