We decided to have a late lunch/early dinner at Harry Cipriani as a special (expensive) meal before a night out. At 4:30, there were only a smattering of diners. We were served very quickly and efficiently. My veal Milanese was as good as I remember it at Cip's in Venice. The cocktails are top notch. The restaurant itself is not... More

My husband and I was so looking forward to our first dining experience at what we considered a classic landmark. Unfortunately, the level of expected service for the cost of the menu items were not met. Our meal was okay, but not great. I had the grilled organic salmon and my husband had the half free-range chicken, both with sauteed... More

Dining at Cipriani's is just like stepping back in time with waiters dressed in white who offer unparalleled personal service. I felt like I was on a steamer crossing the atlantic and could easily envision myself as a part of the boom times of the roaring 20s. Our waiter kindly brought us complimentary desserts to try and our entire family... More

I like everything about Cipriani's. I dislike nothing. However, I was heart-broken that the baby artichoke and avocado salad wasn't on the menu. I wanted that salad and so did my sister-in-law. The waiter said they couldn't get good baby artichokes so they offered a very similar salad with endive. It was virtually fabulous. The Veal Milanese was fabulous. The... More

We seem to disagree from some reviewers. We really loved Harry Cipriani's. It was the one restaurant in Manhattan that we visited more than once. Decor is delightful art deco, Service impeccable from start to finish - our water glasses never went dry neither did our wine glasses. The dishes are classics and the quality of the cooking and the sauces... We were looking forward to our visit at Harry Cipriani´s and went there on a sunday night. The restaurant was 3/4 full, mostly with larger groups of guests that celebrated some occasion and drinking a lot of Veuve Clicquout. The Spaghetti al´amatriciana were "out" to my disappointment. When I asked the waiter if it is possible to ask the chef... More

One great thing about this restaurant is it's proximity to the Sherry Netherlands Hotel in New York. The Sherry is a first class property. Cipriani is not. Not bad but not what I think of when I remember it's namesake in Italy. Bellini? They will make you a great one but the bar is very small. After the drink, everything... More

Having had visited Harry's a few times before tonight was a total disappointment. The service, always impeccable in the past was cold and virtually nonexistent. The waiter that took our order ignored us after doing so, water glasses not refilled, bread not served. One woman (a server I presume) barked at us with a scowl, I still have no idea... More

Excellent service and a good service by staff. Used it for good breakfast two times during our stay at The Sherry.
