Well I heard of this restaurant from my frequent travels to HK and so decided to try this whilst being in NY. To don't get the value for what you pay. I would say this was really an average dining experience. Nothing to shout about and certainly not one where I will choose to return. It's a tick of the... More

If you are ultra rich, this is your restaurant, even for just rich, you might not come and dine here every week. The food were decent size but for a risotto with asparagus and small shrimps, $65.00. Bellini's were $20. I do not have to go on and on! We used to dine here but lately, the prices are too... More

We have been to Harry's in both Venice and Rome and this place lacks the atmosphere of both those places and the decor is somewhat dated. The food (risotto and fish) and service were good but not outstanding, bellinis were ok but the food and drink prices are very high for what you get. Granted its NY and not Italy... More

Lots of locals. Great fashion show. Superb service. Over the moon prices. Crowed tables but reminds you of Harry's Bar in Florence. The food is always very good and the waiters have there forever. Superb location. All pasta dishes are great. And, if you are single always attractive young ladies at the bar, even though very small. We love going... More

This restaurant was in the lobby of our hotel, and we ate here for breakfasts and a couple of dinners, along with our nightly cocktail. Service was wonderful...the Maitre d, Sergio, got to know us and treated us like family. Be warned, however, that it is VERY expensive ($85.00 for a steak). They offer hotel guests a 20% discount on... More

After learning the original one is in Venice, I was not surprised that the food was true Italian, the lemoncello was perfectly tart/sweet/lemony... and the service was extraordinary. A leisurely 3 hour dinner for a friend's birthday.. never felt rushed, the Staff eager to please... FABULOUS appetizers and veal was perfect!

This copy of the famous Harry's Bar in Venice, is located at the south eastern corner of Central Park @ 5th Av. On a Friday night, this is where the local upper eastsiders dine and kick-off their weekend. Packed to the last seat, simple but well prepared mainly Italian dishes are served at small tables by professional waiters. One couldn't... More

We have been travelling to New York City for decades, often 3 or 4 times a year. We have tried scores of restaurants in New York City. In our opinion this is the best restaurant in New York City. You are treated here with respect and dignity. It was obvious that this restaurant has many regular customers. Yet they treated... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
