Cipriani is amongst the restaurants who has the ability to stay modern without changing a single thing, when entering it is the same atmosphere today as 10 years ago... Food is in the absolut TOP, the restaurant is vibrant and contains life.. The staff understand that being classic - is only a plus in a society filled with restaurants opening... More

You take time slowly here, and please eat. Of course order a popular dish of genuine Venice. The Italian dish created from this restaurant is very delicious. Smart is happy with a genuine dish in New York‼️

NYC Restaurant you need reservations, we had a group of 5 for lunch. This is another place where it's expensive but the food was very good. Most everything starts in the are of $30. The restaurant is very elegant with a classy atmosphere, service as well is first class. Everyone stated off with a glass of "Belini" which was excellent.... More

We stopped in for dessert and drinks at 8:30. They were very busy, but extremely polite, accommodating, and got us in. They never, at any time, made us feel inconvenient. This was truly a highlight for us to enjoy the Bellini, port, and dessert. Many of the staff stopped by our table to welcome us and chat. We even had... More

A fantastic evening spent in Cipriani - started with the world famous Belini...how do they get it so right! Great food and setting and makes you feel special and at home whether your first time or 100th visit - almost a private club type environment. Will definitely visit every time in New York

Great place for traditional Italian fare with an upbeat atmosphere. Not a place for a quiet intimate dinner. Food was excellent and fairly reasonable for a high end dining establishment. Service was excellent on our first visit but fell off a little on our second visit.

I have been here three times now. They are always very accommodating even when we don't have a reservation. There pasta is extremely fresh. The kids even enjoy the pasta here. Great wine and cocktail list.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
