Much better than the roof

We had lunch on the roof last year and were not impressed. Had lunch yesterday of main floor and we were impressed. Calamari and lamb kabobs, seafood grill and mushroom ravioli all excellent. Service was not perfect but the food made up for it. Get the Cheesecake.

Went to NYC for the day. The bus dropped me off at Bryant Park. After a day of walking, I decided to have lunch somewhere close to where I would catch the bus back home. That turned out to be Bryant Park Grill. I had a table by the window over looking the park. I had a great cobb salad... More

We were a party of 10 for brunch on Saturday-- a very busy time. The setting is beautiful with great big windows looking out to the park and vibrant decor. We all had the brunch menu, good variety and everyone enjoyed their choices. Our waiter was very accommodating and gracious. A great location; we flowed right out to Bryant Park... More

Fabulous venue and if you sit outside either on the terrace or balcony you get amazing views over the park. The plane trees framing the skyscrapers at twilight are beautiful We ate here twice and both times the service was excellent and the food superb ( I can recommend the East Coast fish and chips). The puddings are delicious. It... More

Loved the mid-week lunch ambiance. Tables filled inside and outside with the most well put together group of lunch patrons in the city, at least on this day! Add a beautiful spring day and one could spend an afternoon here people watching, but for the need to get back to work. Food was mediocre, service was good - and boy... More

This is a grill i have always wanted to visit but without success, However the time was right for a lunch in the park. !.45 pm we walked into a fairly empty grill room & asked if we could eat. With no reply the seater started looking at her bookings book & beaconed us to a table without a word,... More

Went for dinner - food was Ok with reasonable portions but overpriced, but the waiter kindly agreed to move us as the party of 4 next to us was ridiculously loud. But when the bill came they only provided indications for an 18% or 20% tip - obviously 15% was not acceptable. Not cool. Would not go there again

Warm day in May we went to this restaurant and even with it being Mother's Day in the U.S. They found us a table outside - they were really busy. Service was quick but we were not rushed - food was delicious and iced water constantly topped up which was needed as temperature was in 80s. Came to about £35... More

We reserved a table for lunch here last Thurs. We hadn't been before so was not quite sure of the set up with outdoor or indoor seating. As it was a lovely day we asked on arrival for an outdoor table. We accepted the table offered but to be honest it was not a very nicely positioned table. It was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
