Great food and service but a bit pricey for our Midwestern tastes!

Great atmosphere and service and the food was fabulous! Our family of nine had an awesome dinner here! The food was awesome and the service was fantastic!

After recommendations from friends and reading great reviews, my friends and I were expecting a wonderful experience. We had reservations to eat inside the restaurant because it was so hot. While I think the restaurant has a great atmosphere, it is really noisy and the tables are right on top of each other. (We heard every word of the conversation... More

We had a family dinner there with 8 people - 4 adults and 4 children. Good sized portions but not much choice for children. We had a table outside, food was good and served quickly. Deserts were very good. Wine was well priced. Front of house was very friendly but waiter could have been happier. Lovely atmosphere as park was... More

Bryant Park Grill has a beautiful setting. On a summer day, the rooftop is a fantastic place to sit. Today I ordered the cheeseburger, medium rare, no bun. At $14.50, I was expecting a healthy sized burger cooked to perfection. What arrived was an over cooked hockey puck, bun included. The food was 180 degrees different from the setting. Next... More

What a terrible experience. Got there about half an hour before closing with a reservation. And as soon as we were sat the waitress said we had three minutes to order everything because the kitchen was closing. After we ordered our food was served and my wife's meal was burned with the aftertaste of smoked rice. We returned the plate... More

Wonderful outside setting for people watching. Honored our reservation on time with a huge crowd of people waiting. They were "out" of bread and so couln't serve their Artisanal Bread Trio we were dying to try. (In a town like New York, can't someone nip out and buy some bread from a corner baker?! ) The Seafood Parfait appetizer was... More

Enjoyed a family brunch here on a Sunday before Christmas. It was a beautiful day, and the view outside was lovely. The food was very good. No one rushed us to leave. Service was excellent. We would all like to dine there again!

I ate at this restaurant when it first opened -years ago. It was a great experience - sitting in Bryant Park and having good, solid food - not ocerly creative, not too expensive. My last trip there in July I was so disappointed. The restaurant and outside seating was noisy, the service ok (Our waitress said it may be a... More

We fell across the Bryant Park Grill when looking for somewhere for lunch. Despite the rain we still sat outside. We shared starters of Mozzarella and tomato, and spicy lamb koftas. We should have learnt our lesson as when the mains arrived they were huge. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich and I had spicy prawn pasta which I... More

Excellent bistro to dine and watch the world go by the windows. Great crab cakes, fabulous deserts and a nice restaurant to relax. Service is very good and some days you can watch the jugglers teach students.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
