Fun spot for dinner

Noisy sports bar and dining area but good and plentiful food. Good hamburgers and fries. Friendly wait staff, prompt service. Good beer selection Reasonable but typical New York prices. Would recommend for a fast, fun dining spot!

I was there this past Saturday before i saw a play. The food was disgusting. Actually the table behind me asked to see the manager for the same reason. They complained their grilled cheese wasnt melted, fries were microwaved, etc. I chimed in to compain as well. The nasty manager all of a sudden didnt speak English and said to... More

We stopped in to Smith's for a light lunch and a drink. My wife had the Spicy wings and I had a bowl of chili. The wings and the chili were fine. Interesting that the top two wings were very large with four small wings underneath. Chili was covered with melted cheese that was delicious. Place was very crowded but... More

Service was quick and efficient but food was not good at all. Macaroni cheese was not to the taste of us, too sweet (was it the cheese?), we adults shared a seafood platter which was alright until we reached the fries underneath. Maybe we are too spoiled.

We were running late for a concert and took a chance on this place, and were glad we did. Our waitress greeted us quickly, got our order in and served just as quick, and it was delicious. I had a breaded chicken cutlet sandwich with grilled onions and cheese and my wife had an enormous salad that she said was... More

Great for a wind down drink at the end of a busy day. Good beer selection limited wines which seems to be typical of many bars in NY. Like it bars the offer 1/2 price happy hour drinks each night. Norma. Pub food on offer in the menu however we did not samale any.

We stopped since it started to rain and it was quite late (10:45 PM). Nice bar atmosphere and a great service... Ordered 5 entries... all were great... Together with sodas, beer and a glass of wine + a great desert less than $145... great pricing too !

Amazed to read recently a review that said worse! We stopped by from the Intercontinental Hotel, the place was across the street, bright and open with booth seating and clean restrooms. Had a very good selection and the host and staff were pleasant, fast and responsive. Eggs made just right, french toast tasty. Lots of tourists who all seemed to... More

I used to say you can't get a bad breakfast in Manhattan, I was wrong. I tried Smith's today as its next to my hotel. The food was served slowly and cold. The quality was average at best. There are places better than this in NYC. It's called - anywhere.

We stopped in here after seeing a Broadway show. It's a good sized place with more of a bar setting on one side and a restaurant setting on the other side. We had a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. Good food and nicely poured drinks. The staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and it's a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
