Not good

We waited 10min at least for our waiter to get our drink order. Then it took a long time for our food to come out. The atmosphere were ok. It was REALLY hot, we had to sit on the top floor. It was about 45 deg outside but at least 80 inside. They had to turn fans on. Once we... read more

food was fine. Service was slow and the staff seemed to be changing shift and arguing with each other. Took too long to take order ...but mainly the place was just shabby and I would have walked out except my companion was so hungry she didn't have the energy. Normally I enjoy TGIFs, but not this one.

This was not a good experience. The food was okay, but most of the thing on the menu was changed with something else. The service was okay. But what draged the hole experience down was the location. Cold open space with weird seatings.

Being a fan of TGIs in the UK my friend and I decided to to try one in NYC, what a big mistake. Upon entering the restaurant we went to sit at a table and was spoken to in a rude manner by the front of house staff who shouted no no no. We were told we had to wait... More

The staff who served me and my friend were not the friendliest and I even went to the bar to order more drinks as our server didn't ask if we wanted any. When I got to the bar I was refused service as he told me to wait for my server! This took ages! We waited nearly half hour for... More

Stopped by for lunch and drinks during the holiday shopping in the Times Square area. This is a very large TGIF and a bit confusing to navigate. The service was really slow and pretty apathetic, the food was not hot and tasty as is typical at most TGIF's.

My friends and I stopped here to eat while waiting to board our bus. Very disappointed. Place was sooooo small. You could barely walk down the aisles. Service was ok. Prices were a little too expensive for my taste. I will not return to this location. All other tgi fridays I been too were great.

Me and my family stumbled over this tgi Friday on the quest after a steak dinner. In a way mission accomplished but in the end not satisfied. After a long wait the food arrived semi cold and they forgot part of our order. Got the feeling that the staff had a bad day - they were grumpy and not a... More

My daughter and I had the misfortune to visit TGI Friday last week whilst in New York. Service poor and the food terrible. Limited menu for veggies so had a veggie burger = horrible. Had to wait ages and high prices. Other visitors returned their meals as not hot. Would never visit again there or in England.

We were seated immediately for a late dinner at 8:30. Service was quick, the waiters were friendly. The food was ok...typical chain food. Portions were on the smaller size and the price was typical NYC...expect to pay $25 for chicken fingers and fries.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
