Ok food and shabby service

This restaurant gets a lot of grief but it wasn't terrible. The chicken Parmesan I ordered was still a little frozen and tasted odd but everything else was tasty. The service was not very well the waiter didn't greet us or get us drinks or napkins which disappointed me but if you see this place... read more

An amazing evening and amazing food, the service was fabulous. Giuseppe at the front is a true entertainer and makes you feel like you are right in Italy! I recommend this place. Bon apetito:)

I had a simply wonderful time here. While visiting nyc, I decided to grab dinner in little italy and wanted the full experience and to sit outside. The food, staff, and people watching was a blast! Of course its a very popular place, so dinner does take time (which is the Italian way). I had the special steak and fresh... More

We rolled into this restaurant at around 9 in the evening and were immediately shown to an adorable table right on the street. We received endless water refills exactly when we needed them, gorgeous music and an attentive staff all while sitting back and enjoying the view of the nightlife. The food, obviously homemade, was great and filling--definitely couldn't finish... More

My business partner and I had the spicy "Linguini with Frutta di Mare" which was superb! It went over nicely with a bottle of Montepulciano. The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambience, with pictures of famous mobsters like John Gotti and Tony Soprano, on the walls, is reminiscent of the Mob Museum in Las Vegas. The Accordian player induced... More

After being on a 3 hour tour of Little Italy and Chinatown we were eager to have some lunch and the place had been pointed out to us on the tour as the favourite of John Gotti so we thought we would give it a go. First off, we asked for a table outside as it was a hot day... More

Avoid this place like the plague. The worst service in any resteraunt I've ever had the mis fortune of experiencing and the starters weren't great either! We sent our mains back and left (I've never done that in my life!). Broken glass on our table, waiters constantly shouting at each other which was very intimidating, the kitchen and toilets were... If you're a bit of a clean freak (like myself) might be best to check the cutlery and glasses you are given because during one visit I found them to be dirty. But the staff are tremendously friendly and enjoy having a joke or two with the customers. (My friends and I were actually enticed by one of the staff... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
