We took the advice of several people and had pizza at Johns on Bleeker St in New York. It was a good fit for us and some friends from Australia we met on our tour as the atmosphere was nice & laid back. However the lack of basil or any other seasonings on our pizzas did not satisfy any of... More

What can one say that hasn't already be said about John's? I'd been savouring my visit here for about 18 months and John's didn't disappoint! We arrived at around 5pm on a sunny august week day and was pleased to see we had beaten the crowd. We ordered a large thin crust half pepperoni and half tomato pizza, it was... More

John's Pizzeria has an amazing pizza!!!! However, the service is terrible................The serves were extremely rude! You would expect from a 30-40 dollars pizza a better and nice service. What a shame...

The pizza was incredible. Like most NY spots you can't just get a slice here, but as good as it is, you'll need/want a pie anyway. Great atmosphere and great quality of ingredients. Loved it.

Will never be able to eat pizza in Texas again after having Joe's. Great pizza and really cool atmosphere. Almost went to the John's on 44th thinking they were the same. They are NOT the same. Glad I noticed the fine print. Also good to know is that it is a cash only place. No credit cards.

There's a reason why John's of Bleeker Street have a gallery of stars who have trekked south to the bottom of Manhattan to eat here - the pizzas are fabulous. A 100 year old coal fired pizza oven makes the beautiful pizza base taste that John's is famous for. Large pizza (enough for 4 for lunch) start at $16. If... More

Best pizza ever! The coal fired oven makes a huge difference in taste. A must when in the West Village.

Went last year and made a return visit this year. We live in Florida and as so many know there is no good pizza so when we go into the city we make sure we hit John's. As always, EXCELLENT!!

If you are looking for an authentic pizza place in in a non touristy area, Johns is it. We loved the thin crust pie. If you have mastered the subway, it is easily reachable by the underground, we had not quite figured that out. We had quite a walk down Bleecker, great for my wife and I not so much... More
