Italian gourmet style store with sandwich bar and top butcher

On our trip to NYC my hubby and I visited this place 3, yes 3, times. The Italian Sub is enough for 3 meals. We had a little of everything and we LOVED it all! its a must for a next visit

We have visited friend's recommendation. Without any hesitation, a great restaurant with delicate foods and affordable prices. Will visit again.

My husband insisted on visiting this store/Italian deli after seeing it on Eater.com and on tripadvisor. I was excited to walk around the village and see all the little store and bars. We walked in it and was wall to wall people buying food for the holidays etc...thankfully I took a number and my husband got his sandwich very quickly.... More

We love their sweet and spicy soppressata. Buy it by the pound! They'll pack it up for you if you want to take home on the plane. Yum!

This is a fantastic place to get your Italian and more specifically pork products. Their home made Mozzarella is outstanding and sausages are the best in any specialty pork store in the area. they also have locations in Brooklyn and Nassau county but I like the one of the lower west side the best. Hard to resist the cookies, cannolis... More

I wish I could have tried everything in this store. The meats and cheeses all looked amazing. The smells were to die for. What we focused on as part of our food tour were the rice balls. These rice balls were made to perfection. We tried the plain ones and the ones with proscuitto added. The plain ones were the... More

Tried this after reading many of the posted reviews and was not disappointed. I sampled both the chicken parm sub and the Italian Special. Found the Chicken Parm to be exceptional. Chicken cutlets were sliced thin. Breading was light and lightly seasoned. Tomato sauce was a little bland but not over-powering and fresh mozzarella was just right (not too sharp).... More

Went to Faicco's specifically to try their Italian hero based on all the great reviews. I was very disappointed. It was packed with meat on not-so-great bread with awful tomatoes and lettuce, decent roasted peppers and not-enough oil, vinegar or spices (like oregano' basil, etc.) If quantity is what you're looking for, then yes, it's great. But I don't consider... More
