I'll keep this short.. go to this store, order an Italian special, walk to the bench area at the end of Bleeker, and enjoy. Utterly delicious, top guys working in there, value for money. Just yes!

While they were being made we checked out the black and white pictures on the wall from when it was first opened and chatted to the staff. I had the italian special while my wife had the american special, For about $12 each, there... More

Faicco's is a great old school Italian grocery store / butcher shop which reminds me of my youth. You can grab a sandwich to go or buy ingredients to cook at home ... great place!

We were introduced to Faicco's while on a good tour. This is obviously a true Italian place and a favorite of the locals. We saw firefighters walking in to order... That ought to tell you it is good since they know their neighborhoods. It is family owned down to the forth generation. Stop here and also stop next door at... More

I first found Faicco's about 12 years ago and each time I travel to Greenwich Village, I stop in to buy a sopressata. These folks know their meats. Their cured meats are fantastic. This trip, I decided to try the prosciutto bread. This is a unique treat, made with crumbled prosciutto, and folded into a small roundish roll. Hard to... More

Why come here? well aside from the heavenly rice balls, it's on the famed "foodie" stretch of bleecker street, where there are bakeries, gelato shops, bagel balls, pizza, the #1 cheese shop, and other culinary must-stops, almost all of them historical and famous in their own right. In Fact, the food tours of greenwich village make Faiccos one of their... More

My husband got the largest, most fabulous Italian sub I have ever seen, and I had a couple of rice balls that were fantastic. It really lives up to the hype :)
