Not a restaurant. Just one of Greenwich Village's most enduring ethnic food treasures. All kinds of fresh meat cuts, ready for your kitchen. Sunday gravy to go. Cold cuts, cheeses and prepared Italian-American favorites, imported pastas, canned goods and sauces. Busy, efficient service, plenty of helpful, friendly counter staff. Closed Sunday afternoon and Monday.

We have been coming to this grocery for years. There are shelves packed with all sorts of Italian goodies. Beautiful, unusually shaped pastas, rich olive oils, Balsamic vinegars, and a gorgeous meat & cheese selection. there was an elderly Italian gentleman sitting on a stool, and motioned for me to sit with him when we were on our way out.... I don't get there as often as I would like, but they have the best cuts of meat for an Italian meal. The sausage, Parma ham, and prepared foods are of the best quality.

We were walking around the village and went into the shop. We decided to get a sub to take back with us to NJ for supper. It was huge and loaded with peppers mozzarella and fresh delicious meats. We will definitely go back and try some other sandwiches. But that sub will be hard to beat.

My family has been buying food here for more than 50 years. First my grandmother, then all my aunts and mom too. Never been disappointed; they can't be beat. If you want really good Italian sausage, go to this pork store! The lines can be long, especially before a holiday, but it is so worth it.

But don't be put off. So efficient. You won't wait long at all, though I must say, absolutely everything in Faicco's is worth the wait. So don't be ascared of all the people, they get you in and out. Head over to Washington Square to eat it....wow.

My wife and I were walking around the village and we came here based on previous reviews. We ordered rice balls and a meatball parm sandwich and we ate lunch at near by Washington Square Park. The store was very busy and the service was fast. The food was excellent. We would go back.

We tried this on our food tour recently in NYC and we loved it so much we went back and bought a pound of each and also bought some for gifts. Yum. A definitely must when you're in NYC.

First time here and largely based on reviews. It's a meat market with a sandwich shop in the back. I love that! We had the Italian sandwich and the pesto chicken parm. Both were so good and fresh. Just great units. Here is the deal. They are huge!!! My wife could barely finish half of hers. So maybe split? Ok,... More

Our group of 16 went there with the NY Food Tours, The Original Greenwich Village tour and Robin was our tour guide. We were served their rice ball. Wow I’m 100% percent Italian and forgive me Mom, but theirs was better, it was that good.
