Dear lord...the sandwiches. The perfect balance of meat, cheese, vegetables, and bread. Everything done to perfection, everything is delicious! The Italian Combo hero is $14 but worth every penny! I want to try all the specials!

My partner and I travelled to NYC in November and researched the best Italian specialties stores and Faiccos come up so it was on our to do list. We went there on my birthday for lunch and ordered two ciabatta rolls each and I must say it was the best birthday lunch I've ever had. The rolls were filled with... More

Tried the chicken parm and the italian sub...they were both amazing! They stack the chicken cutlets, layer some fresh mozzarella and some sauce, toast it and there you have it...heaven! The Italian sub has the most delicious meats sliced super thin, really really good too. Definitely worth the price.

OK, so we only had a rice ball, not really the basis for an intelligent review. But what if it was the most amazingly delish rice ball one has ever had, what then? Well, it was.

One of the BEST pork stores in NYC. Have been shopping there for years. The counter help is exceptional. All of their products are wonderful. Best sandwich around. You will not be disappointed.

One of the great Italian Subs in all 5 boroughs! Nowhere to eat. Eat it on the street curb like we did. Adds to the experience. Theyve been making them for over 109 years. Know it is awesome.

We had to return this year to Faicco's Pork Store and so glad that we did. The only problem is that when we walk in we are just in awe of the meat counter and wished we lived in NYC or had something half as good in Atlanta. Then we walk to the back, stand in line and order the... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
