Talk about an iconic bar. Located in the Waldorf Astoria. The bar brings you back to a bygone era. Dark woods adorn the place. The drinks were very good as was the food. We ordered from the bar menu. I had the Angus sliders. They were very good. It's a once in a life time experience.

Have dined at the BB dozens of times, often because it is convenient when staying in the hotel. The ambience it classic "old NY" with dark wood panelling and standard steak-house fare. Food and drinks are good, but can be bought less expensive a couple of blocks from the Waldorf. Everyone should eat there, or have a drink a least... More

We had a superb dinner here. The steaks were excellent, the side dishes were huge, and could easily be shared. For non steak eaters, such as myself, the other menu choices were somewhat limited, but are available. The waiters were attentive but not obtrusive.

Expensive but worth it! If arriving early ask for the set menu as it is much cheaper. We only had time for a main course and for three of us with a glass of wine (£13 per glass!) and it came to over £150! As we were staying at the Waldorf we used our food allowance of £150 accrued from... More

Possibly one of the best meals I ever had. It was my birthday and the staff couldn't have been any more attentive. Lobster and porterhouse were the best I have ever tasted. Back in 2015 for my 40th and cant wait to eat there and stay at the Waldorf.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
