I have stayed at this hotel before (Waldorf Astoria) and was keen to revisit. Thie Bar was a real disappointment. It had a bit of a buzz, but the staff did not seem to care. We ordered drinks . When they arrived, we were not given any nibbles. , which others seemed to have. We asked for these and were... More

The steak and seafood were divine, and the service was perfect. This would be perfect for a romantic meal or special occasion. We took our 10 and 12 year old boys and were made very welcome.

The food is first rate, but expect to pay handsomely. Do not be fooled by the presentation of this as an upscale pub. The Bull & Bear is a fine dining establishment. The ambience is great with lots of dark wood panelling and furniture, combined with warm but reasonably bright lighting. The service was good but a little pushy for... More

Worst service I've ever experienced.....waited about 15 mins to be served at the bar and then gave up to go elsewhere. If you're going to pay around $20+ for a cocktail, the service needs to be better. Way better. Only giving 1 star because I can't give zero stars.

We had a wonderful visit to the Bull & Bear restaurant. Our bartender Florentine provided outstanding service, helping us select drinks, doting on us and telling us stories of famous customers that have visited the establishment throughout the years. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
