Great range of draught beers, tad expensive at $8 a pint if you miss happy hour which ends at 8. Beer was excellent. Food was not up to the standard of the beer. I had an antelope burger - tasted more like beef. My wife had fish tacos, commented that the fish could have tasted fresher. So would definitely return... More

We walked down the half line when itvstrrwt to rain. So we found a review at tripadvisor about half king. It's a nice bar and resturant and pub. We had good burger and good beer. We can really recommend stopping by there!

I wanted to meet a local to have a beer and catch up while i was in town. She suggested this nice little bar by the highline. We met at 23 &7th and walked down to the bar. It worked out fine for us as it was happy hour so we tried a few beers and shared some chicken fingers.... More

This pub is opposite our apartment and I have been here for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Every meal has been fantastic and I'm officially naming this pub my new local.

We stopped in Half King for a beer after visiting High Line. The atmosphere was so nice and cosy that we decided to have a dinner there too. The pub food was very tasty and the service was friendly. Definitely recommended!

We stayed just down the street in Chelsea, and did not arrive from a long flight until 10pm. Starved and looking for a fun place for our first night in NYC, Half King did not disappoint! Low key and chill, the food was different and tasty. The beer selection is legit and the staff was friendly. Will definitely return!

On an extremely wet Friday afternoon after I’d been wandering around the galleries in Chelsea, I popped into the Half King for a few beers and really enjoyed it. A substantial beer choice and a nice atmosphere. Very good bar if you need a break perhaps if you’re halfway along the High Line for example.
