Ruby Foo’s brings the bold flavors of Beijing, Bangkok and Tokyo to Times Square in a big-box setting that is as boisterous as it Broadway neighborhood. Described as “imaginative” by New York Magazine, the 300 seat space and approachable Pan-Asian cuisine is perfect for dinner pre or post show, lunch with clients, brunch with kids, private parties, and any other occasion imaginable. People watch at a Broadway-facing table over pad thai, sample some of the best rolls in the neighborhood at the 20-seat sushi bar, share assorted dim sum at a banquet and finish with a Dessert Bento Box. Tight on time? Take freshly-baked theater treats like Chocolate Chip Cookies and Caramel Popcorn to go. Or, get sushi and dim sum delivered to your door!

Nice place, Reasonable prices in Times Square area

A nice safe bet in the Times Square area. Food is good and prices are reasonable. Nice decor and friendly service. Good for families so grown-ups can have a decent meal and kids will be happy too. (They serve a 'worms in dirt' pudding dessert for kids) The lettuce wraps and steamed dumplings were... read more

My wife and I came here over the weekend while we were visiting the city. She remembered it being more of a Chinese place when she was there 10 years back so we were surprised to find it was pan Asian now. That said it was a good meal albeit the menu has limited options. The price point is reasonable... More

My friends and I went twice during our four-day stay. The first time, the service was excellent, but the second time, they seemed a bit shorthanded, and service was slow. Both times, however, the food was wonderful. We shared several dishes including edamame, shrimp & lobster spring rolls (excellent), pad thai, chicken lettuce wraps, spicy tuna roll, spicy rice. This... More

Have eaten here about 8 times. Always good. Not the best Asian in town, but a safe bet for people visiting the Theater District. Make reservations! They accept them and are always prompt with the table. Loud and crowded most times, but being in NYC near Times Square that is to be expected!

Walking inside after the bright lights of Times Square it takes a while for your eyes to adjust to the dark interior. More 'dingy' than moody and being such a small space doesn't help either. Tables are closely packed meaning that other diners coming and going tend to knock the tables while you're eating. The manager was a little abrupt... More

A favorite stop for us when in town. Pan Asian food with excellent decor and hip music. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Tonight we had chicken lettuce wraps and a couple of rolls. The monster roll was to die for and the chicken wraps were fresh and delicious. Our dim sum was a bit stale but... More

Great experience. Wait staff was efficient & knew we had to leave to get to the theatre. We are vegetarians and there were many choices. The food at Ruby Foo's was excellent!

The staff were friendly and helpful but the food took forever to get to our tables. When our food finally came we were still missing dishes and told our servers but it still didn't arrive. The final dish arrived 30 minutes after the rest of the food so we cancelled that order! It was a lovely meal, if not a... More

We were a big group of 41 and had a set menu. Every single bit of food that came out was superb. The waiting staff were excellent, probably the best that we came across whilst in New York.

This was the first restaurant we visited when we got to New York and was definitely one of the best. If your a fan of ribs go for the sticky ribs starter.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
