Months ago I was with a friend from California and I took her to one of my standbys: Cafe Con Leche on Manhattan's Upper West Side. While it's not in my neighborhood I'll subway up to this cheerful spot. I usually go for brunch but today I had a full-on lunch--the "sizzling chicken fajita". It came right off the fire... More

Popped into this little bar after an unsatisfactory experience over the road at Hi-Life. Sat up at the bar and had the best mojito I've ever had. It was so good I had another one! Hubby had a beer which I can't remember the name of now, but he said it was good. Would definitely return and perhaps try the... More

Went here yesterday & had a great meal as always! I used to go here for lunch after class or brunch with friends.. I recommend the Steak sandwich, with garlic sauce & this spicy orange sauce they have there. Your breath won't make it easy to kiss afterwards but totally worth it! And the prices are very reasonable. I also... More

Too bad we did not find this restaurant until our last day in NYC. Son and Husband had the cuban sandwich. It has been my husband's quest to find the perfect cuban sandwich since we lived in Florida. This restaurant ranks #1 for him. I had the Mofongo or Machuquillo without the pork cracklings, to say it was fabulous would... More

I just loved this place. The food is really tasty and it has a good price. Lots of Latin flavors. The staff is really friendly and this is a great place to visit if you are Latin and is a bit home sick.

We were looking for coffee and tired of the same old outdoor cafes that now seem all the same and you don't always get great coffee. There it was... and in we went. Dos cafe con leche! Perfecto! It brought back memories of the 70's and 80's when we'd go to the corner store and grab a cafe con leche... More

Walked upon Cafe Con Leche while searching for a Lunch place. I ordered the rotisserie chicken. I asked for white meat. They only serve it as dark meat. Really? So in a haste, I ordered a Beef burrito. The $10 burrito was a bit above average. The beans and rice were above average. I would go back an just order... More

Went here for dinner and drink on a Friday. We were able to get a seat outside with Diego as our waiter. He was great, food was fabulous, and the cocktails were delicious. However, my only complaint is the wine I had was horrible. I had 3 different reds...and they were all bad. Just stick to the margaritas and you'll... More

Carlos the waiter so friendly and helpful. Makes great (complimentary) Mamajuana! We went for an evening drink on a hot day. Sat outside. But the food looked so fresh and delicious we stayed for dinner and weren't disappointed. I don't know anything about Dominican food but thus was terrific. Go. I don't think you'll be disappointed either.
