Went here for dinner and drink on a Friday. We were able to get a seat outside with Diego as our waiter. He was great, food was fabulous, and the cocktails were delicious. However, my only complaint is the wine I had was horrible. I had 3 different reds...and they were all bad. Just stick to the margaritas and you'll... More

Carlos the waiter so friendly and helpful. Makes great (complimentary) Mamajuana! We went for an evening drink on a hot day. Sat outside. But the food looked so fresh and delicious we stayed for dinner and weren't disappointed. I don't know anything about Dominican food but thus was terrific. Go. I don't think you'll be disappointed either.

First thing to know is that Happy Hour is noon to 7pm every night so that is a whopping 49 hours per week. Cocktails are $5, or as the sign helpfully explains, two for ten dollars. Not sure how much three would be. Anyway, we had two each. The coconut mojito made me wish we'd arrived before 6.30 as two... More

We were hungry after arriving late in NYC and so the hotel desk recommend "just walk over to Amsterdam and pick a restaurant". Resaurtants are side by each, we looked at 4 or 5 and then came back to Leche. mainly because although busy, there was no loud music and no line up. The Cafe is tiny, but intimate. It's... More

This used to be reliable spot to grab a meal. However, the last few times we visited, the quality has decreased along with portion sizes. It is a shame as they used to be a regular destination but now the spotty service and food makes this a pass for now. We would be willing to try again as the food... More

My colleague and I decided that we were tired after a long and busy day, and thought we would not go too far from our hotel for dinner. We have several restaurants in the area that we like and have frequented before, but took a look at Café Con Leche’s menu and decided to try it. What a find! The... More

We came across the Cafe Con Leche on our first day in New York and had a great Sunday Brunch. The food set the benchmark for the rest of our trip and stayed as the front runner for flavor and character. We returned on our last day in New York and had another really tasty meal. They make an orange coloured... More

Dropped in to this little local place because of long lines at our original brunch destination. Upon being seated, we were asked if we wanted coffee. We did. Though it was good coffee, it arrived after too long a wait. Our meal, too, arrived after a long wait and my eggs were no longer hot. My companion's side dish arrived... More

To be honest I didn't eat here, however, take out was brought to me by my wife and it was horrible. Never had an oxtail with more marbled fat on it than the butcher's floor. The entire meal save for the decent arroz amarillo con habuchuelas smelled a bit rancid and the overpowering use of garlic to mask bad cooking... More

This place used to be good, now the services is terrible, delivery is slow and the food arrives cold! Portion size was cut in half at some point in the last year...i think the missing portion also had the taste.
