We spent an enjoyable evening at Mary's Fish Camp. The place is small so it makes for the tables practically on top of each other, but once you get used to that and the food arrives it is a good experience. The presentation is beautiful and the atmosphere pleasant and comfortable.

Whilst randomly zigzagging through the West Village on the lookout for a lunch place, I stumbled upon this. I was seated at the bar and I felt immediately warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The place has a bustling atmosphere, but it's not very big so never overwhelming. Great contemporary seafood inspired by world cuisine awaited me. Fresh ingredients and... More

Fish always consistently good. Didn't love the eggplant that came w/ it., Too noisy to eat in...and always a line; I like to order and take it home to enjoy in the quiet.

The food is very good here. The staff are up beat ,helpful, , friendly, and accomodating. We had a clam appetizer which was very small. We also had fried clam and oyster appetizer which was also very small. The lobster rolls had a lot of large pieces of lobster which were very good. The prices are high. This is not... More

I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed the food. The seafood always appears to be fresh. Less positively, they are always in a hurt to get you out. I would guess they are successful at turning the seats/tables 3x per night most nights.

Tight quarters, really small, but homey place. Friendly, accommodating staff with retro music, roadhouse atmosphere. Fresh seafood, on the expensive side, not overly large portions, but quite tasty & well prepared. The fried green tomatoes with buttermilk dressing special was good, but needed more than just 2 slices per order. Tried the mahi-mahi grilled fish tacos; a different spin this... More

Loved this place. We had a fantastic and memorable lunch. We started with a bottle of Spanish cava and a large plate of oysters. We then had the fried green tomatoes and the watermelon salad - fantastic combination. We then shared the lobster roll and shoestring fries. All good. To top things off the strawberry shortcake and the hot fudge... More

While I enjoy reading the menu and acknowledge the vast array of delicious seafood options available here, I inevitably order the lobster roll. They are crazy delicious. Sitting at the wooden tables munching on the calamari appetizer, you can almost pretend you are at the beach. Mary's does a pretty good job of creating the atmosphere of a sea food... More

I had been walking for miles and was focused on seafood at the base of High Line when i literally stumbled on Mary's Fish Camp. I was desperate and still had some walking to go so I stopped by here instead. You know, sometimes you can be lucky and this was one of them. It was stiflingly hot outside so... More

I always promise myself I will try something different when I visit Marys as the fish always looks amazing but then I get there..... And simply have to order the lobster rolls. They are simply delicious and no trip to NY is complete without a visit or 2
