Delightful team and a menu to die for. We ordered a few things and shared. If you like your fish and seafood this is one hot NY spot to aim to for lunch. Yum! The chowder is pretty much unmissable.

Great place with delicious seafood, crabs and lobsters. Big change, mot is now open on Sunday and as they don it accept reservation plan on being there early to avoid long line. All is good but lobster roll and spicy, Mexican pozole are probably among the best items on the menu. I've been there first time some 10 years ago and... More

It's a small restaurant and they don't take reservations however we were able to get two seats at the counter. The service is friendly and quick, tables constantly did become available however we were having a great time watching the open kitchen. The baked shrimp were a little overcooked however still delicious in a garlic/chilli butter. The sea bass (daily... More

Have been to Mary's 3 times now, and it's always amazing. It's a small authentic style fish place in the heart of the west village, and although extremely popular with locals, the wait is never too long. They have a daily selection of specials that are creative and worth experimenting with. Must haves are their fresh oysters and the crab... More

A serving of mussels seemed to have a few freshly cooked with the remainder rubbery and previously cooked. Swordfish very average. Lobster was enjoyed by daughter but smelt the place out. If you like overcrowding, a lot of noise and your clothes smelling of a fish pan the next morning, this is the place to go.

My first remark the cleanliness of the place impress me. Friendly staff. I loved my lobster roll. Fast service. The desserts were very delicious too. Especially the banana bread pudding.

This is a place to visit! In a movie-like neighborhood, a small, friendly seafood restaurant. Service is relaxed and professional. The menu is not too long, filled with interesting dishes. I had the shrimp burger and it was delicious, with something new to taste. The dishes going to nearby tables all looked very tasty. The portions are reasonable in size.... More

Couldn't have enjoyed the meal more... fantastic, fresh and quick. Open kitchen brings the cooking process closing to your table (or the bar - nice to sit up there and watch) but does leave the smell of the place on you for a long while afterwards.

I found myself starving solo one Wednesday after work with both my fiance and friends still at work. I decided instead of going home to eat boring leftovers to get off in the West Village. I ended up at Mary's which was on my must try lobster rolls list that was helping me find the best lobster roll in NYC.... More
