Excellent Uni, Attentive Service, Well Shucked Oysters

The Uni and Salmon Roe was very fresh. The Oysters were well shucked with no shells or dirt present. The accompaniments to the oysters were of high quality. The Shishito peppers were awesome and abundant. The overall price of my meal without Alcohol or a large entree or desert was still over 68... read more

A very vibrant place. Seems like the staff including chefs would have to work harder if the proximity to Times Square would have kept them busy. My first selection of whiskey listed on the menu was sold out. Ok sushi. Fairly priced kids menu, an extra plus.

My waiter was a dream. They were very accommodating to our food allergies which did not taker away from the quality of the meal. Then even made sure we made our show on time.

I visited this place a couple nights ago for my birthday. I ordered the shrimp and lobster spring rolls as an appetizer and the grilled shrimp with lemon potatoes for dinner. I thought the food was really good. I also received free dessert. I would visit again.

My second visit to Blue Fin was in early January and was not as good as my first visit which was a couple years ago. We has a table upstairs and I was freezing throughout dinner and had to keep my jacket on. The food was just average and all 6 of us agreed we'd had better at less expensive... More

Really pleased with dinner at Blue Fin. The oyster selection was excellent. We then had a wide range of sushi, sashimi, Maki and handrolls. These were very fresh and excellent quality. Service was great and wine prices reasonable. Noise level a little high but it was a busy Saturday night.

Was here for dinner, but was has this placed changed. Don't get me wrong food was still good but if you look at service wise it is one big mess. Our server was the whole time one big grump. We never saw a smile. We then ask for a manager and the assistant general manager came by and she was... More

We were in NYC for the blizzard, and both the play and the restaurant we had booked closed at 2pm- along with everything else! We were staying in a perfectly good hotel, but didn't want to eat all our meals there. The W was a short walk away, so we bet that, as a hotel, they would stay open. We... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
