Pleasant surprise.

Entrance off Times Square was not inviting--dirty windows, sort of grubby. But once inside and up the stairs, it was much better. Food was delicious. Service attentive, but not overly so. Asked if we were going to theater and got us out in plenty of time.

Last night we were in town to see a show. Originally planned to go to another restaurant but the traffic was bad. We walked around for a few minutes and saw Blue Finn. Sign said open during construction. Boy did we luck out. Food was amazing, drinks were a nice size and made well, and the place was hopping and... More

I've eaten in many restaurants in the Theater District. The Blue Fin will now be my go to place. There were six of us who met for a 5 PM reservation. We were actually able to engage in conversation. The food and service were excellent.

Loved that we were given a credit to eat breakfast at our Hotel. Although pricey, food was excellent and had attentive staff.

Located in Times Square and the food was great. It was very loud, the tables are VERY close but the food was yummy. Very much enjoyed the raw oysters. For my main meal had the halibut with gnocchi and the lemon tart for dessert. My friend left her iPhone and it was there waiting for us - good news -... More

Went here before the theatre.Didn't have a special before theatre dinner but food was good. This is a very busy well decorated restaurant I had a chicken dish which was good but most people go there for fish. Service was adequate

I usually stay at the W Times Square in New York, so the Blue Fin is very convenient! It's a trendy sushi restaurant right in the middle of Times Square, with large windows (which are excellent for people watching). The ambience is calm and relaxing. Despite its location, the restaurant is always able to seat us right away. I enjoy... More

Vistited NYC with my family for a 3 day lightening visit. We decided to go to Blue Fin for breakfast having just walked past the front door and liked what we saw. The waiter was brilliant kept us informed and quickly took our order. The girls had pancakes and we had a breakfast bap. Both the portions were huge. With... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
