Blue Smoke is an institution in the Gramercy neightborhood just off Park Ave South. Blue Smoke serves up great BBQ and delicious Mac & Cheese in a clean environment. Unlike most BBQ places in NY, you're not going to rub elbows with those who just picked up their foodstamps. I highly recommend Blue Smoke. More on our trip to New... more

Firstly I love the Gramecy/Tribeca district where this is based - great bars/beer bars local to the restaurant. Restaurant part of a chain by restauranteur daniel meyer - think this is his budget restaurant! Menu focuses on BBQ and is really chilled out - there is also a funky jazz club attached to the restaurant. I ate meatloaf, grits and... more

This is based on very recent reviews My cousin turned 21 so we went for dinner. We went on sunday at around 830ish and it was fairly busy, the atmosphere is very hectic and fast-paced. I have been here before and was happy and disappointed with a few things so this time, i was prepared. You kinda gotta know what... more

We were a group of 6 adults, ages 36-66, on a Saturday night. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It did help to have a reservation, so I'd recommend planning ahead. The hostess promptly greeted us and arranged for someone to take our coats. We had to wait for half our group to arrive, but once everyone was present, we were... more

The ribs were tough and chewy and were very expensive. We got the rib platter for two but were still starving because the portions were so small. Service is ok but prices are very inflated. Would not recommend it. Go to Del Frisco's instead. more

So good we ate here twice, like other reviewers. We confirm that it was absolutely packed on the Friday night. The ribs were quite nice, burgers and chips very good and the steak was perfect! We also confirm that it is a bit expensive. We were 6 people, we had 2 jugs of Brooklyn beer, 2 burgers with chips, 4... more

First time I ate there I was on a dinner date accompanied by a very unsatisfied third wheel. I liked it enough to go back a second time only this time with my 6 year old twins, mom and sis and they loved it. The waiter let the twins decorate unbaked sugar cookies with jimmies which the kitchen later baked... more

So good we ate here twice, it was absolutely packed on the Friday night though. The ribs were quite nice, nowehere near as good as our second meal there, which was the best burger and chips I ever had. The most expensive too! We had 2 drinks each, burger and chips each, mac & cheese (delish) and a dessert each... more
