I visited here with my young daughter for dinner. I had the vegetarian chilli, which was wonderful and tasty. My daughter had the corndog, also tasty. We also had the chocolate brownie with icecream it was oh so tasty, we devoured it in seconds. Our waitress was so friendly and it was no problem when i asked her could she... More

I attended a shower there, and it was a really great experience. The staff was attentive, the appetizers were tasty, the drinks were good, and the room was away from the rest of the place. Fun!

We wanted a Sunday brunch place that opened as early as 10am in the west village that was neither pricey nor fancy, but it HAD to be special for our rendezvous with our two 20 something year old kids coming from Hoboken NJ and Brooklyn. What a delightful surprise! From the atmosphere to the food and service, it was a... More

We just wrapped up a visit to NYC with our family, including two children ages two and five. We read about Cowgirl in a book, "Family Guide New York City." We are fans of comfort food, so we loved the menu. Only wish they had offered sweet iced tea as well. We were particularly impressed with the kids meals. The... More

Came here our first night in NY with our 6 year old. Great place for families with comfort food galore and fun, laid back atmosphere. I love the vegetarian chili and the corn bread. The complimentary chips and bean dip was delicious.

I love this place!! It's a can't miss, especially if you're looking for a fun late-night place to hang out with friends, have a few drinks and some campfire vittles. The staff is fun, so is the the food. The kitschy atmosphere is a riot (they accept S&H Green Stamps, y'all!) and I always have a great time with my... More

Like everything in Texas, their portions are HUGE. Do yourself a favor and share everything on the table. Honorable mentions to the following items on their menu: Frito pie, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak and the frozen baked potato.
