Visited with friends for dinner. Busy restaurant with a great atmosphere. Food was excellent. Service first class. All enjoyed with a very nice cloudy bay.

Portions were small. Food was overpriced. Staff was mildly friendly but very robotic. Neat place with a lot of history that felt very touristy. You would be better served elsewhere. I won't be returning!

One of my favorite spots when I'm in NYC, comfort food at its best, relaxed atmosphere, helpful friendly staff and the best lobster Mac and cheese on the planet!

Went there after work a couple of times, late night. They had great mini burgers & fries, nothing super-outstanding but they were very nice. Placed was packed, so service in the restaurant area was a little slow...but the Bar area is where you want to be. The entire place is tiny, so not for the faint-hearted, but it has oodles... More

Like many other reviewers, we ended up here following a recommendation from our hotel. We arrived, after a long journey, exhausted. The menu looked good, and we shared a plate of tater tots as a starter - these were excellent. The burgers were, however, a little disappointing. The burger itself was fine, but the bread was a damp excuse for... More

Went to PJ's on recommendation of concierge from our hotel. We arrived in the city late so limited dining choices. They did not disappoint. We had tomato soup, Parmesan tater tots and sliders. Our waitress was delightful. Has worked there many, many years, great gal to converse with. Pub food and good eats.

Found on Trip Advisor and was close to hotel; had just checked in and we were HUNGRY! 2pm on a Friday and the place was PACKED. Service a little slow, but we were visiting and didn't really care. Four women, we shared the fish tacos, lobster mac & cheese and 2 burgers, and beer all around. Food was all excellent,... More

I think that if you are spending a few days in Manhattan, you should totally go there and enjoy their amazing hamburguers. Maybe is not as cheap as other restaurants, but the hamburguers are the best in town! You should totally eat desserts, they are AMAZING!

I go to PJ's everytime I'm in New York. Remarkable, idiosyncratic New York bar/diner, with a classic New York bar tender, oyster bar in the corner, stained glass saloon style urinal, and great food. Not to be missed.
