My friend and I had a Reuben and a hamburger and a beer each. All were excellent. Our waiter was very good and struck the proper balance between annoying and ignoring. The atmosphere of the place is enjoyable. There is a crowded bar at the front of the building if you like that and a dining room in the back,... More

The character of this place is what drew me in the first time and the bartenders were great guys. The second time I thought I best sample the food, classic American/british comfort food. I had mac n cheese and the mrs had the cheese burger, Nothing too fancy but it was filling and very tasty. Washed down with Guinness, a... More

Arrived here on a Sunday eve, just prior to a big football game playing. We were seated in a small area that had a TV so that we could watch the game. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food was very good - think comfort food - made right. Kale Salad and the Iceberg Wedge Salad were excellent. Lasagna special - delicious.... More

Dined here on recent trip to New York and what an experience. Lovely ambiance ,friendly staff ,great food ,comfortable surroundings in old world charm. Worth a visit for the onion strings alone . Started and finished our trip to New York by dining here and would definitely recommend a visit.

Hoping for glamorous drinks at the nearby 65 restaurant, but only finding out in the taxi that they were only open mon & sun we stumbled across PJ Clarks as the nearest place to eat & drink with a good review - and were not disappointed! The busy bar was just a 20 minute wait for us but with great... More

The food was really good at P.J.'s - homemade pasta, great fish and crab cakes.. Not badly priced for NYC, but still a bit stiff for me.. The service was great, and the atmosphere fit the name of the place.. very much a "Pub"

Great old saloon in Manhattan. Looks like nothing has changed (except some of the wait staff) for about 100 years. Can recommend burgers and well stocked bar. You won't be disappointed by the pours and you will of course be awed by Manhattan prices!

New York's oldest saloon has hung around for a reason - great burgers and steaks, a turn of the century atmosphere and tremendous bartenders. At least stop in for a drink and enjoy PJ's raw bar. The Sidecar upstairs turns the decibels down a bit for so business or romance can be conducted.

The food was very good - the chicken pot pie was a big hit as was the onion soup. The bread pudding dessert was not so great.
