Great burgers and sandwiches

Good service. Delicious Mac and cheese. The buffalo chicken sandwich and Cadillac burger were equally delicious. Popular spot and always quite full.

We had just finished a wonderful pedicab tour of Central Park (see my other reviews). And we asked our guide for a true New York dining experience. Not a tourist trap. He said to trust him and continued to take us here. This location was the one closest to Columbus circle near the park. The crowd was moderate and we... More

Visited this place at the turn of Oct/Nov '15 with my partner and had heard about the place from a bar in Liverpool that had been opened in tribute. Ended up going in on 3 occasions during our 6 day vacation and was remembered by the staff and treated well on my birthday whilst I was there. I agree with... More

This place is buzzing, everything has been done before but it isn't in the least stale. It was a great treat to go and I will remember being well served and looked after.

It just simply doesn't get any more authentic pub fare than this. Delicious. Just checkout the photos. From fresh seafood to NYCs best burger, you won't be disappointed. Old of the city's oldest continuous pubs.

I found this place on Tripadvisor and thought it would be a good place to have a meal. The rating of this place made me believe that it was above average. The food was ok- at least what we selected for our meals. The tabletop for 2 in the back room was narrow and small. Felt very boxed in and not... More

We went to PJ Clarke's to meet my wife's nephew who had traveled from the U.K. to see the Bruce Springsteen concert on Sunday. We met up with them at the restaurant on Saturday after braving the blizzard conditions for 15 blocks, but all was well after we arrived. The beer was great and the food was really good. The locals were friendly and... P.J. Clarke's is an institution. If you love NY history of NY or the history of bars and taverns, then you really have to try and are likely to love it solely for its 150+ year history. And I did. But I was also pleased to find that the place doesn't rest on its reputation alone. Quite the contrary. It... More

This place is ridiculous. Always humming and bustling about. My colleagues and I went here one night for a work dinner and were not let down in any way possible. The oysters were top notch and same for the prawns, the burger was absolutely fab as were the wait staff. We even sat close to the commissioner that night so... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
