Delicatesses at all times

All crab and oyster freaks will be satisfied here. Most of the time the restaurant is rather full. You better make an early reservation.

My brother and I made a point of visiting PJ Clarke's for lunch when we were in Manhattan on July 14th. Alan in particular was interested because this was his first visit to NYC and he knew the history of the place. We arrived around 11:30am and were quickly seated. When Alan inquired about Frank Sinatra's table, our server happily... More

An institution in midtown East this is a great place for a quick lunch or drinks. Good selection. I had the cobb salad with grilled chicken and it was wonderful. Too many tables squeezed into a small space-we were nearly on top of the people next to us. But it's crowded because it's good so I guess that's ok.

Great place to meet friends, have some drinks in a historic NYC bar with nice old wold ambiance. The raw oyster bar is great. The simple comfort food is perfect for a casual experience.

Come here for your beverages to quench your thirst; however, I cannot in serious conscience write any words of encouragement to the kitchen. Their clam chowder was definitely from a bag of Sysco heat and serve. I decided to try their cheese broiled sole and very disappointed how it was swimming in brine with brocolli rabe and potatoes underneath the... More

I used to swear by PJ Clarke's. I've even won money from incredulous friends thanks to the incredible taste of their Mac & Cheese so I always make sure to pass by PJ's atleast once every time I'm in NYC. This last time we came by for dinner, and I was disappointed. I mean, the food was still good but... More

We arrived sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. My burger was flavorful, however my bun became very soggy. This burger can use a more substantial bun.The parmesan tator tots were good but slightly dry. The bartender and service was good. This location has great history and ambiance. I would return

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
