This was the worst restaurant I ate at in six weeks in NYC. The entree was decent. The clam chowder tasted like it came from a can - I sent it back. The service was very inattentive. more

The food was just okay. The oyster's rockefeller left a lot to be desired. It was a very small appetizer that was clearly only enough for one person. It was truly nothing to write home about. For my meal, I had a rolled oyster sandwich. Again, not good, not bad. Nothing special. If anything, the fried oysters were pretty bland.... more

We ate at this restaurant Saturday night, December 3, 2006. My girlfriend noticed its neon sign from our hotel window so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is quite small and seating is what I'd call "New York cozy." There is no private conversation here so if you're claustrobhobic or aniti-social you might want to go elsewhere.... more

We stumbled on this place after the David Letterman show, and to our surprise thay had some good food. Yes, the service was slow, but I found that in all but 2 restaurants in our 5 days stay. Plus, the people who either run or own this restuarant are italian, and they are just a laid back type of people.... more

This place, despite the name certainly isn't famous for its marvelous service. We sat in a semi busy place, for about forty mins. even before we got the menus! There was no excuse for this at all. The food however (I had mussels) was very good and the place was a convenient walking distance from our hotel on 6th Avenue.... more
