Good moment in a lovely place

I went there with a friend around 5pm. It is a lovely place to have a cup of tea with some biscuits. That's what we did and it was perfect. Moreover it was cheap (5$ For a teapot and 10$ for an assortment of biscuits (10 biscuits in it)).

This is a must do for our family when we are in NYC. The pumpkin carmel scones are heavenly! Love the Trafalager and Chai Tea selections. Small pot is good for two-three cups of tea with your scones & a to go cup for Central Park.

Recently visited this place after reading some great reviews and seeing the whimsical atmosphere described on the website. I hyped up this place as an "awesome surprise" to my 6 year old who loves Alice in Wonderland, tea parties, magic and sweets as much as any 6 year old should. She was sooo excited when she saw the lit up... More

Like it a lot! The scones and tea is fantastic! They have 5-6 different tastes every day and I have jet to find one that I don't like! This is an absolute must when in New York. It has 3 locations but I've only tried 2 but they are similar.

After getting married in Central Park we wanted some where close by for a very quiet reception for the two of us. Alice's tea cup Chapter 1was perfect. The staff were so friendly and kind to us. The teas, sandwiches cakes and scones were the best ever. Tuna sandwich was to die for as was the pumpkin scone. You must go... More

We visited Alice's Tea Cup after a long day pounding NYC pavements, so we were in need of a sit down and some refreshment. We got both in spectacular style. The decor in this place is amazing! The staff were also fun and friendly, and the scones we had were the best ones I've ever tasted - and I've tasted... More

Finding Alice's Tea Cup was a surprise find that I won't get over soon. First of all, the space is quaint and inviting whether you are full grown adults looking for a quiet bite or planning a trip with your young ones to introduce them to scones and tea. My sister and I had breakfast there and each of us... More

Thank goodness for Groupons for introducing my friend and me to this charming oasis in the big city! We were entitled to get two sandwiches, two scones, and tea to go. We would have loved to stay at the restaurant because the actual tea room was beautifully decorated with a whimsical ambiance. We took our food with us and were... More

After a long afternoon of wandering through Central Park, taking tea at this charming little cafe was a god-send. My daughter and I arrived around 3 pm, just before a mini rush of patrons, and were led directly to a table, not before the hostess sprinkled "fairy dust" on the head of my exuberant 4 year old daughter. They had... More

Small gem on a side street in Manhattan. Excellent spot to leisurely enjoy an aromatic cup of tea, sandwiches and dessert. Make a reservation as the place is small and it is busy on the weekends. Great place to host a bridal shower, brunch with the girls and a solo treat. Sells tea, flavored honey and other tasty treats related... More
