Deon was our waitress. She was so sweet and on it! The food was super yummy and so was the tea. No hot Choco in April :(. I would recommend to anyone!!!! The paper signs on the hostess stand need to go, looks tacky and I think they should wear Alice related things (at least a fun apron). There was... More

If you love tea rooms, you'll love Alice's Tea Cup in NYC. It's a quaint little tea room with great breakfast foods in addition to their scones and cookies. They also serve coffee if you prefer. We had the pumpkin pancakes and Eggs Benedict.

I stopped in after a visit to the museum to warm up with a pot of tea (a list of many) and the scone special, which was warm and severed with a jam topped with whipped butter (on the side.) It was actually too large to finish and I lovvveee sweets...Different tea pots and cups and saucers on every table.... More

I went here with some friends and had a great time. The scones and tea were great. I recommend the curry chicken salad and the mocha chocolate cake. A little pricey but nice for a treat.

I love going out to tea and it's fun to try new tea places. This place has 2 or three locations in Manhattan. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageous either. They have cute tea cups and reservations are recommended as they are busy often.

I brought my 3 daughters to this wonder place for tea and dessert one winter evening. The place is very small so we had to wait in line. They are good for parties for little girls. We were told to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes but they called us back in just 30 minutes. Well we were in a... More

Alice's Tea Cup is great for sharing a pot of tea & scones or other light fare with a friend, or several. I've been several times and always enjoy it, but it is a somewhat expensive. I'd say the quality is worth it, but I personally couldn't afford to go every time I want to meet a friend for tea.... More

So original. So delicious. So satisfying. An absolutely delightful, magical spot on the Upper West Side. Totally worth a visit if you are visiting NYC.

We went to Chapter One on a Friday morning with no reservation. Luckily there was no wait and we were seated straight away. I read reviews saying the wait staff were rude. We did not find this to be the case. Our waitress was very helpful and was happy to tell us what the scones were more than once as... More

Nice place to go to. Very good food. Good bargain. Tasty dishes. Good service. Perhaps a bit noisy ...
