Loved this special little place! We had lunch there with our kids before a visit to the American Museum of Natural History and couldn't have been more pleased. Our kids loved the Alice in Wonderland theme, which is carried throughout the entire place from the menu to the restroom. The scone selection was amazing, as well as the tea menu.... More

I ordered a cake for my mums birthday to pick up when I arrived in New York from Scotland. The cake was made and ready for me to pick up exactly as ordered. The cake itself was absolutely lovely and my mum was extremely happy with it. The cake was great size and the price was extremely reasonable. Thanks again... More

I simply love this place !with the most charming wall paintings from the book, great service, amazing scones and wonderful blends of tea; all served so reverently. I come here every time I am in NY and always leave smiling.

It is a very tiny little cafe with seating upstairs but be sure you make a reservation. We waited two hours. Food is yummy and you can still order their special waffles until 2. Tea choices were a little limited though. Nice respite.

The tea (coming from a coffee lover) and food are both delicious here and the air of whimsy is perfect for Alice and non-Alice lovers alike! The non-matching cups are also an adorable twist. They don't take reservations on weekends though (unless you're 6+ people), so be aware of that.

I've been going to this location for more than ten years and loved it, the scones are amazing and the atmosphere is adorable. However today I experienced something that I also experienced last month (and didn't post about because I thought it was a fluke). There is a host who works here who is quite possibly one of the rudest... More

...and a bit of a tourist trap. Don't take the cab ride out to it. It is small, poxy, unimaginative, not Englishified other than the cakes at the front with remote references to Alice in Wonderland and the more you look around the funnier it gets - in a bad way!! The place has scummy furniture which is not intentionally... More

We must have been mad to eat here. I was recently on holiday in New York and ate here with friends. You basically get flavoured tea, some scones and finger sandwiches which would be delightful in any other place but I found Alice's Tea Cup very cramped and extremely over-priced. The bill will be per person regardless what you eat... More

You will love this place no matter your age. It has the best eggs Benedict and chicken hash browns I've ever had. Their teas and scones are good also. Be aware though that the place is always over crowded which makes service slow, but everyone is friendly.
