Best scones I have ever had! Extensive list of teas. Smallish and can be crowded so, go early, for quiet tea and scone. However, this place is great, if you have kids. Nice lunch choices, too.

In every city I visit, I try to have afternoon tea and scones in at least one place. Although most of them are typically busy, they still remain quaint and charming and a bit on the quieter side. The scones, tea, and service here are excellent--there are multiple options of both tea and scones and they are served with the... More

My first visit a year and a half ago at Alice's Tea Cup on 102 West 73rd St. was a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my second visit at Alice's Tea on 156 East 64th St in November. I had asked previously in an email if they had scones without egg and and they had... More

I've been several times to all the locations. The food is great, the tea selection is outstanding, the atmosphere is adorable. It's suited for little girls birthday parties just as much as 20-somethings bachelorette brunches. The scones are AMAZING! Be ware of long lines for brunch, though. Go early and put your name in and plan to go for a... More

Never disappointed with lunch, tea, and a yummy scone. My favorite is tea infused egg salad! They offer a large selection of teas and freshly baked scones. Always a special treat!

Alice's Teacup is a splendid bistro! From the host to the waiter and other staff, all so friendly and you feel the sense that they want you to have a great experience. The one and only negative is the bathroom. Unclean, but don't stop let that stop you from enjoying..let them know as I did.

The restaurant is not large so you may have a wait. The chai tea is awesome and the overall tea listing is extensive (even overwhelming). Scones are expertly done. Little girls can get extra sparkle with wishing dust and there are fairy wings to borrow. The experience is a blend of being a little girl and grown up sophisticate at... More

Enjoyed this funky little place. Service was average but people were friendly. Good for tea/coffee and scones. Enjoy.

I loved my experience at Alice's Tea Cup. Before seeing an Alice in Wonderland-themed ballet at Lincoln Center, my friend and I had tea and scones here. The people were so friendly and the atmosphere so quaint and cute. Really made me feel like a little kid again! The Alice's Tea was delicious (coming from a coffee drinker) and the... More

This is a cute little tea shop/restaurant tucked away in NYC with an Alice in Wonderland sort of theme, and it's worth a stop if you've got the time. The tea was wonderful and the food done just right. It can be difficult to get into without reservations, though, so you may want to call ahead.
