Knew about this place from trip advisor and planned to visit after going to History museum. Hadn't booked but got a table ok. Ordered the afternoon tea with scones , sandwiches and cookies. Plenty of variety of teas and staff very friendly to help with choice. Food was excellent and the cookies we couldn't eat we're bagged to take away.

This whimsical little restaurant is a nice stop for a morning start. You can opt to order a la carte from the menu or choose to tea for 2+ option. Staff at 2 of the locations we visited were very friendly and accommodating -i.e. if you leave your name and number they actually call and follow up to tell you... More

...we 'took-away', but it looks like a fun place for small, young families. The pastries were better tha average, You can get tea to-go, but not coffee. If it's a Sunday there's a nive flea market just up teh street...

We went to Alice's Tea Cup for Breakfast, the crepes with the fresh fruit was out of this world. They have the best scones that I have had. And so many different kinds of tea. Really unique place.

We brought our children to NYC last summer and did not make it to the restaurant. This year it was a much do on our list. I expected a whimsical happy place. The atmosphere was drab. The servers seemed bothered to have to do their jobs. We were seated and waited almost 20 minutes before a server took our order.... More

Alice's tea cup was on my must visit list whilst in New York, as it looked so sweet and is such a great idea. From the outside it looked gorgeous, and inside was ok but I feel like SO much more can be done to make it a special experience!! Service was fine, we ordered tea and scones but to... More

They have GREAT scones! Huge tea menu...hot tea isn't really my thing but still found a couple I like there. Really enjoyed breakfast there...yummy bacon and the potato/chicken hash stuff is a nice change. The decòr is fun if you're into Alice in Wonderland.

The best scone in town comes from Alice's. Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel or Pumpkin or Blueberry or Lemon...omg to die for! Pair it with any one of the magnificent teas and you'll be salivating to return. There are three locations 2 UES, and 1 UWS-I have been to all and can recommend them. However, I think my favorite was the... More

I came here twice a few years ago and really enjoyed the experience. The tea and scones were delicious and so were their burgers! The decor is really unique and I want to go back soon in order to update my review! Great restaurant and concept.

I've eaten at Alice's Tea Cup two times and each time the food was delicious and the tea was brewed with integrity and care. Price is moderate, yet affordable for the memories you create there!
