Excellent Angelo's

Super pizza and other dishes. This is a very good restaurant. It is not fine dining, but it's cosy, friendly and good food in decent sized portions.

The service was great! I was expecting something a little different. I didn't care for the basil leaves on the pizza. I did notice that a lot of pizza places in NY do this. The pizza without the leaves was very good. The crust was yummy!

The positive reviews on this restaurant helped us select this restaurant. We did like the food, but we were disappointed in our service. The hostess was indifferent. And, the waitress was more interested in her Facebook page on her phone at the server station. We had a white pizza, pepperoni pizza, and ravioli with pistachio sauce.

My wife and I were looking for a nice place to grab lunch before touring more of NYC. We noticed Angelo's and took a chance. We've been there twice already and will definitely go back a third time before leaving the city. The service is amazing. The pizza was scrumptious. The cheesecake and cannoli were fantastic! The prices are very... More

Visited Angelo's twice on a recent trip. Great food, great service. The first visit was the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday they were not busy. The second was Friday evening and the place was packed shortly after we arrived and seated. Service was the same on both occasions. The bread with olive oil, the pasta, the salads, the... More

Service was great! Our pizza was awesome - fresh mozzerella cheese, thin, crispy crust. Loved it!!!! Kids loved it too! Clean bathrooms too.

We went to this restaurant to eat pizza on a recent trip to NYC because their pizza had been featured on the David Letterman show in the past. My review only applies to the pepperoni and sausage pizza. We did not eat any of the other food this restaurant was serving. The pizza was very disappointing in taste and appearance.... More

I had normal to high expectations of Angelo's Pizza as I ate here in 2008 with my mom and we just loved the pizza, atmosphere, everything about it. We knew on our return trip, we wanted to fit this into our schedule. We were very disappointed. We were seated, (mind you only 4 tables out of the whole restaurant had... More

We dropped by on a tuesday evening having read the recommendations. Pizza was very good and big enough to share, which we did. The pasta was only ok according to my daughters.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
