I've been to many delis and can't figure out why some people really like Artie's. I had a bagel with whitefish salad--pretty simple. For anyone who loves a good sweet lip-smacking sandwhich but not really worthy of an$8 toll through the Lincoln tunnel. Way too much sauerkraut for a reuben!!! Awesome potatoe pancakes though and great for parking if you want to be away from the midtown madness!!! Try the pickled tomatoes!!! more

This diner is a must for all our trips to New York. Visited the restaurant for the first time in 2003 and has been hooked ever since.
