This place is decent for an informal dinner. A little difficult in getting information before you arrive but once there and if you get a seat without an issue (arrive early on a Saturday) then it serves its purpose. I do, however, feel that they need to re-train their managers. Spoke to one and was told one thing. Spoke to... More

Never mind. I amend my prior statement. They have sent me food consistently that is supposed to be vegan that contains meat and dairy. I have just gotten home, tired and hungry, and filled a burrito I can't eat with my tears. They won't even send me what I ordered after calling, though the restaurant is still open. Just a... More

I really Blockheads and its margaritas! They are amazing and the food is tasty. What I really appreciate is the atmosphere: it's very nice and lively so you will have fun hanging out with friends for sure!

We all love their signature Bulldog beverage, a margerita with a mini beer stuck inside it. We all love their mysterious space rations of chip bags. Why not combine these 2 most popular elements and make a burrito with a taco sticking out of it, vacuum seal it in plastic, and give the people what they want. Again, I like... More

Blockheads is not fancy but overflowing with nice people from around the globe. The reason seems to be, just great food, wonderful drinks and a fun team to help you enjoy the Blockheads experience.

Lamont was nice server. However when I told him I don't do spicy, he said fish tacos would be ok. Evidently he does not think the chipotle mayo is spicy but I could not feel my lips after finishing the first taco. Hubby liked his dish. FYI they are NOT dog friendly in their outdoor seating.

When you go there you see people standing in the line at the street. After waiting , you understand why. The food is Ok, cheap compared to NY, and the Booldog cocktail is great. After one glass you fell great, after the second - you are at th top of the world.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
