Cool atmosphere, too many people to enjoy it adequately. It was super crowded when we went and we got stuck at a tiny table near the bar with people squished all around us. I also wasn't too impressed with my drink (ginger smash-way too much ginger). The food was great though (I got the whole trout and my boyfriend got... More

I know my cocktails. These guys are amazing. Don't be shy to go off menu because they are all over it. Awesome. Will be coming back next time we're in NYC

Ate here with another couple on a Thursday night. Did book a reso a few weeks out - smart because it was full when we arrived. Had the bone marrow poppers, Orecchiette, girlfriend has the Chicken dish with cucumber and asparagus salad. All food and cocktails were fantastic. Highly recommend.

Loved this spot once we made it in. We arrived at the door about the time they started getting extra busy. The doorman held us at the door telling us here wasn't room enough for my group of four to get in right away but that it would only take ten minutes. Twice while we were waiting, a group of... More

We waited ages to get in here to be very disappointed. It was very small and very cramped and the drinks were fairly average given the price. Wouldn't recommend.

Friday night, busy and a little tricky to gain access but worth it. Music was 80's and a great buzz. Drinks in the pricey side at $16~20 a cocktail but you do get a good drink! Worth a look!

The bar is cute but it's expensive and just isn't worth it when there are a million other bars around. Hard to get in and when you do get in its nothing special It's way too cool for school for me. I'd rather a bar that was actually cool rather than pretending to be

We popped in here for a couple of drinks having read up about it on Trip Advisor. It's like a traditional speakeasy but with a small restaurant at the back. Like all speakeasy bars It was extremely busy at the bar, but the friendly staff directed us to a table, which was reserved for an hour later, but great for... More

Such a great place! Coming her was one of the highlights of my whole trip! There's someone who reads fortunes, amazing drinks with bartenders who are so friendly and attentive, there was a burlesque dancer at one point, lots of interesting people. Great vibe!

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
