Car mines is a warm welcoming restaurant with a big heart. The team who work here are enthusiastic and caring. The food is big....as in really big, so if you have a hungry group to feed, look no further. If your needs are for refined delicacy best try elsewhere. The Italian atmosphere is God father I, friendly and loud. Worth a... More

Make reservations. I'm so glad we did. This place fills up every meal, from what I can tell. You will wait a long time if you don't have reservations. The food is family style. Big portions for the money paid (and it's not cheap!). Besides the expected pasta dishes, they also have chicken marsala, veal parmegian, chicken caccitore, and much... More

Carmine's and Broadway go hand in hand for so long that's almost impossible to mention one and not the other. Make sure you don't go alone because its portions are legendary. Whether is before or after the show Carmine's equals Broadway

Great food and great size! One of my kids' favorite restaurant. Waiting list could be crazy though. Don't forget to make sure of the sizes, for us, one portion could feed 3 adults!

This is a great Italian restaurant. Although it is hard to get reservations, one can come and wait about an hour to be seated. Everything is delicious and is served "family style." For a crowd this is exceptionally good in that there is a lot of good food for everyone.

Because of the popularity and positive reviews we really wanted to have dinner here, however; was completely booked each night we were in town. We decided to have a late lunch mid afternoon so we could give it a try. None of us were overly impressed, I have had much better italian food at our local family owned restaurant. Also,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
