Ate lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my wife. We both loved the decoration and polished look of the restaurant. Our waitstaff was attentive and was very helpful in answering our questions as first time visitors. We went with our waiter's recommendation of the ragu (meatballs, pork, and sausage in red sauce) over our choice of pasta. Everything was delicious!... More

WE booked a late lunch at 3:30 at this popular New York Italian. I would advise to book in advance. The place is noisy and large and has a fantastic atmosphere. The service was fantastic. The meals are family size and main course is made for sharing, each main course can serve 3 and at $25 dollars it is great... More

We usually stop at Carmine's when we are in NYC--the food is delicious and the service is good, and it's in a convenient location if you will be attending a Broadway show. This time we ordered the Carmine's salad, one of our favorites, and the chicken scaloppine. Both were delicious! We also tried the strawberry shortcake for dessert--it is basically... More

Amazing sandwiches. Make sure you share. Made the mistake of ordering 2 and had to give 2nd one to people on street, which is not a bad thing, but I do not like wasting food. Try the cheesecake too!

Certainly not the best Italian in NYC, but a fun place with consistently good service and good food. The portions are huge and served family style, and it's better suited for groups rather than couples. A friend and I brought 3 boys age 7 thru 11 for lunch before the Lion King matinee. A salad and one entree was enough... More

We called to see if restaurant can accommodate me for my special diet needs. I told young lady who answered I don't eat items from 95% of their menu, and she said they can make me like a lunch portion, as I asked about chicken and veges. I was thrilled as this was my sisters birthday choice to go eat.... More

My birthday is the first week of December so my wonderful husband takes me to NYC for a few days that week every year! Born and raised in So. Cal...this is a real treat for me (and we have traveled all over the world)! The city is magical when decorated for Christmas. We have gone to many wonderful restaurants in... More

A serving of pasta, garlic bread and a serving of chicken fed four adults and two kids, and we still had leftovers. Very nice place to bring family, significant others or business colleagues.
