Went to City Crab for special Mother's Day meal and walked out...hungry. The place was so noisy I couldn't hear myself think much less converse with my family. May surprise you that this is a favorite of mine. Here's why: real crab cakes and serviceable bloody marys on a Sunday afternoon, watching whatever game and wishing away the night before. Very kind. Give it a try. more

City Crab is a huge letdown. With the massive crowd and classy location, you would expect better food. The atmosphere and quality are comparable to Legal Seafoods, though probably not even that satisfactory. The duplex is packed with tables, a bar on each floor, and a mix of patrons that might as well be tourists if they pick this place... more

It's okay.. the food is of average quality and taste and the service is average as well.. only if you are too desperate to eat sea food around Union Square. more
