Dined at Ciro's on 6/12. We were promptly seated. Service was attentive but without hovering. Food was delicious, served hot, very rich and creamy. We ordered lasagna, fettucine alfredo, and ravioli. We also enjoyed the apple pie and carmel cheesecake. One appetizer, four dinners, two desserts, no alcohol was $100. The meal was delicious but very rich so it is... more

Ciro Trattoria is one of those uninspired Italian cafes in the Theater District area. It's often packed with tourists and passerbys, rather than those seeking it out. The initimate bar and dining room do make it a safe haven from the madness of the neighboring Times Square, but I would recommend heading one avenue over to 9th and visiting an... more

Booked here for our pre theatre dinner before going to see The Lion King. It was just across from our hotel so no probs finding it. We were squeezed into a table for two beside the bar & next to the window looking onto the street, it was freezing & asked to be moved but there werent any other tables.... more

The shrimp parmigiana is delicious and I would go back for it alone. I also had the minestrone, which had good sized chunks of fresh vegetables and a well-seasoned, light broth. The staff was friendly and attentive. Decor is simple and neat. more

After checking into the W my family and I looked around for some good NY eats and stumbled on this restaurant. We walked in (1 wheelchair, 1 stroller, and 6 others) and had the best Italian shrimp parmessan ever! Everything else was also good but we all sampled my wife and daughters dish to officially declare the shrimp parmessan the... more

My daughter and I ate at Ciro's two nights in a row - both wonderful meals at a reasonable price. The retaurant is in the theater district. The deco was very classy and candelit. We had the same waiter on the second evening and he remembered us! more

Having flown 3,500 miles for a Thanksgiving dinner with relatives, the last thing I expected was to be humiliated in front of my family about the size of the tip. After a mediocre turkey dinner (the turkey tasted like it came out of a tin) and not even the offer of coffee, the waiter brought my credit card slip back... more

Had lunch recently. The service is very good. Nice homey place. They start you out with warm bread and good brushettta. My wife had excellent Chicken Marsalla. I had very good seafood salad, and they made an appetizer size gnocchi that were outstanding ! It was a nice attmosphere - casual but inviting. I think they also are on the... more
