I can definitely recommend the blueberry pancakes. This was our second visit and I was tempted by so many great menu options for brunch but was not disappointed when my classic choice arrived. I had sugar cure bacon on the side. Yummy and very filling. Kept me full all day. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic which I love. No... More

Travelling to the USA Big Breakfasts are an absolute must... And I had heard good things about Clinton St. Arrived around 10:30am and unfortunately there was a 45minute waiting list. So we went across to this little cuban bar opposite had a few cocktails and came back. Was not disappointed at all... The eggs Benedict and Avocado on sour dough... More

We were warned about the wait at this popular spot in the Lower East Side, but somehow luck was with us on the weekday we dropped in. Seated almost immediately, the 4 of us all cleaned our plates before embarking on a day of sightseeing!

We went to this Bakery during our trip in NYC as we really wanted to try real American Pancakes. WOW, we were not disappointed. The pancakes were divine, tasty, delicious. We took the blueberry pancakes, received 3 of them with a walnut maple syrup and wasn't able to finish my plate as the size of pancakes was the one of... More

Avoid this place if you are pushed for time, 2 1/2 hour wait for a table, we walked off to go somewhere else.

I had the southern breakfast that is already amazing. Then I had the chance to finish my wife s pancake (banana and walnut) they are truly different than any other. You have to come and try yourself It's "light" and tasteful. I loved it!

Excellent service, one of the best places to have a breakfast in nyc. We wait like 30 minutes outside for our table but definitely worth it!

The pancakes are amazing. We had one with blueberrys. Its a lot, but very tasty! Our second visit was on a sunday and there was a two hour waiting time. Thats why we went to another breakfast place, also on Clinton street. Very good pancakes as well, but if you have time Just wait for the ones of this restaurant!!

New York being such a vast labyrinth of food I wondered why ppl were standing in line morning after morning to get a table here. One morning we decided to wake very early and get in first. My friend had to get up and stand in line to put her name down. We received a frenzied call telling us if... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
