PERFECT Breakfast/Brunch

We chose this place based on reviews and we are happy we did. We ordered the Truffle Fried Eggs, Huevos Rancheros, & the famous blueberry pancakes. We arrived in the middle of a downpour and were greeted by a cosy, candle-lit café. The staff were very friendly and promptly brought us warm biscuits with butter and water. Between us we had pancakes, french toast and huevos rancheros, all of which were delicious. The portions were generous and we left feeling well-fed and very happy.

Very yummy breakfast. It was totally worth the wait outside to have hot and fresh pancakes. They are the best in the city for an early breakfast.

Plan on a LONG wait, no reservations, but it is delicious. Imaginative food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have great French toast, fried chicken sandwich is yummy. Their baked good outstanding.

Awsome, both the food and the service, but you need to get there early to avoid to wait in line. I don't know why some people said the service was bad, I actually witnesses a customer very angry for no reason and the staff handled it very smoothly.

Be prepared for a long wait but you will be rewarded with tasty, high quality food from a menu built to please! Our group of six had a two hour wait so we wandered around SOHO. Service was attentive and timely. The pancakes, bacon, waffles, eggs Benedict were all great. We'll definitely go back and highly recommend.

No matter how long you have to wait (and you will...), its worth it! These are by far the fluffiest and tastiest pancakes in NY! The other items on the menu we ordered (Brioche French Toast and Eggs Benedict) were perfect as well, but nothing compares to those pancakes. The service was spot on, always there when needed. A must!!

Let me just say, if you go to Clinton Street Baking Co. Prepare to wait but the wait is well worth it. The food is the best around. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which I never had before. It was fabulous. The maple butter they serve is outstanding. Their whole menu is simple delish!!!!

We had brunch at Clinton St. Baking Company. Had a 1 1/2 hour wait on a Friday morning. Not a problem for us because they will text you when your table is ready and give you 10 minutes. My daughter had blueberry pancakes--delicious--with outstanding syrup. I order the daily special omelet with a lobster, ricotta, tomato and asparagus. Although, very... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
