The best pancakes in NYC!!

Food was great, customer service needed a little help. Waiter was confused when I asked to hold the banana, as if it wasn't possible. It was. The guy could have been in training.

We were looking for a place with some good homemade breakfast food. After lots of searching we found this place and tried it out. We went at 9:00 and thought we might have to wait a while but wait was only 15 minutes. Must try the biscuit sandwich!

We stayed local to the Clinton St. Bakery and had read the reviews so decided to give it a whirl. We arrived 10 minutes after it opened on a Wednesday and it was already full, be prepared to queue but it is worth it! We had the brioche French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon and all were really excellent.... More

This place is super convenient to the hotel I always stay at, it's two blocks away in the LES. They always have a really good special for brunch even if it's not the weekend. Last time I went I got the lobster omelette. I typically go during lunch hours and they still have breakfast items. Everything is really good and... More

Notorious for long wait times for brunch, but oh my so worth it!! The pancakes are to die for and they have actually won awards. Be prepared to wait though, the average can be anything between 45 mins and 2 hours!

Heard great things about this place, therefore, my partner and I wanted to try it out. We found out that this place did not meet basic customer service. It was 11 am, we encountered four people at the front porch, they recommended us to sign on the waiting list. We entered and we met this unfriendly and harsh hostess. Not... More

My friend recommended Clinton St Bakery for a tasty and filling breakfast and she wasn't wrong! It's a busy little place so book if want. It was a 45 minute wait as it was busy when we went but there is plenty to do and see and shops to pop into to pass the time. Look out for Kats Deli..... More

We went here for a mid week breakfast around 9.30 and the place managed to squeeze us in. Very cute little place only about 10 tables or so. Heard amazing things I had the blueberry pancakes and my boyfriend had the chocolate chip they were both so good were still talking about them now. A bit pricey but were from... More

Be prepared to wait at least an hour or two on a weekend. We shared the blueberry pancakes and the country breakfast which had eggs, ham, hash browns, and biscuits. The food was fine but not really distinctive from other brunch/diners I've been to.

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
