We stopped off here for late night dinner and enjoyed our meal. The NYU is near by and there seemed to be a steady flow of students looking for late night food so even though late the place was busy but this did not distract from the service which was polite and prompt. The food was plentiful and tasty and... More

This is just like the diners you see on TV. The food is freshly cooked in front of you. Reasonably priced and good service! Highly recommended!

We were in a hurry as we had tickets to a show and so we sat at the counter and they were busy. We ended up chatting to our two servers and once we actually had good conversation the whole experience improved from rushed to enjoyable. We'd go again felt like it could become familish

A downtown staple whenever we are back in the city. Burgers are huge and cooked 'under the dome' which keeps them juicy and delicious. Simply the best pea soup to be found ANYWHERE!

Great fresh food cooked to order with lots of homemade favorites. We had rice pudding that was great. Milk shakes were great too. Pea Soup was very flavorful and hot for a cold evening. Old building but the food and the welcome made up for it. Great place to take children as there was lots of variety of foods so... More

Was there on Veterans Day doing a college tour with the son and ex-wife at NYU. While waiting for the tour we walk around the corner and found Cozy's. The place had a good crowd in there. We were seated right away. Waiter came by right away with 3 glasses of ice water. We look at the menu and it... More

...it's a good stop from the hectic mass on lower Broadway. It's a Greek diner so the menu is Proustian. decent BLT, egg cream. Gets you back on the street fortified for more shopping.

Great for students or budget travelers. For a family of 6, each could find something on the menu, the matzo ball soup is excellent. its also open 24h, great if you are looking for a bite in the middle of a New York night.

Popped in whilst out shopping. Had the chilli which was very rich and so only a small portion could be eaten. Was so excited to try cheesecake in New York and ordered for afters. The strawberry cheesecake came in a large portion and although dearer than the plain cheesecake it only had a strawberry sauce and strawberry on top. There... More
