No better way to put it: this is a place to stuff yourself with gigantic pancakes, onion rings, huge salads... and I never even tried a burger. It is not cheap, nothing in NY is, but it is a proper american dinner.

Have eaten some version of bacon and eggs here on a few different visits to NYC and enjoyed my food a lot every time. Service is really pro and efficient, food is plentiful and inexpensive, and I love the classic look of the place.

We had not read these reviews before going here, just turned up after a walk around NYU and Washington Square. It was busy so one would expect it would be good. The food was ok but the service was woeful. For example we asked for extra coffee and were just ignored. But the worst was yet to come. Our bill... More

This is one of the great diners of Manhattan. They have a huge menu. Not everything is healthful, but it wouldn't be a diner if you couldn't get a shake and fries. There are, however, heathy choices. I don't think they use anti-biotic and hormone-free meats and eggs, which I prefer, but the quality is quite decent. I frequently come... More

Being lactose, dairy, gluten & wheat intolerant it's very hard to find anywhere decent to eat in New York. Cozys hit the spot, fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic prices. Would recommend it

We were looking for a place to grab a "quick" bite instead of an expensive coffee and muffin from the local coffee shop and we didn't want to get a bag of chips and a soda from the nearby drugstore, so when we saw this place, it looked inviting and it was a good choice. We had about 35 minutes... More

We were walking back toward our hotel from China town and happened upon Cozy Soup & Burger in the middle of a raging hunger, so we went in fearing that if we went any further without eating we'd pass out. The service was ok, clearly, the diner is used to regulars, and we were not. So, the people who come... More

Would not recommend unless you are after very fatty greasy food. We ended up here thinking it was a typical american diner- perhaps it was- very large portions, chips with all meals and wide choice of burgers.

we chose this restaurant because very close to our apartment and recommended. Portions very small, soup like many other I tasted. I ordered the classical hamburger for main course. I have got it in a minute (I suppose it was in stand by already grilled) and it was the worst one I never ate: it seemen boiled, not grilled, without... More
