Great on a hot July afternoon!

Stopped in this afternoon after walking around the park and had the Cookie Monster ice cream, a mix of cookie dough and Oreos. It was pretty good. The store front is tiny and you order like you do at the bar but it was worth the minor hassle. Will visit again.

Yummy scrum, this place is a real sweet spot on the famed Upper West Side of Manhattan. Not a chain, just a real delicious neighborhood place with fresh ingredients, creative flavors and a good vibe. MMMM mmmm good on a hot summer night.

Coming from Wisconsin, we are a little bit of an ice cream snob and this place just doesn't have what it really takes when it comes to good ice cream. It is over priced and I had the Coffee Oreo and it tasted like it was freezer burned. The other flavor that was tried was just ok too. I guess... More

I think this place is very over-rated, despite the long lines. The ice cream is good, but certainly not the best available. The shop is very tiny and crowded and the wait staff is neither particularly helpful nor friendly. Next time I'll take a pass.

There are so many other ice cream places in NYC, Emack and Bolio's is definitely not worth going to. The ice cream was okay and the cones were cool, but the staff was extremely insensitive and immature. My 10 yr-old son is extremely allergic to nuts which makes going out at all a hassle, but the staff at this particular... More

We stopped into this ice cream spot after dinner on Saturday night for a quick dessert. The place is a bit cramped inside, and they are doing construction on the outside of the building, so you might want to carry your ice cream cone away and eat it on a bench outside Central Park. For my dessert, I had a... More

This place is fabulous. Everything was delicious. Top notch quality with fresh ingredients. Only downside is the lack of seating.

I really wanted some good ice cream and had seen this had top reviews and with good reason. I had the peanut butter and chocolate on a waffle cone and my husband had the raspberry with white and dark chocolate on a coconut/chocolate dipped waffle cone. It was creamy and delicious!

Once you get inside from the scaffolding, you find a nice friendly ice cream shop with great flavors. Make sure you try some first.
