Best Brunch

Best brunch ever, we had ours outside even though there was live music playing inside. Great place and the Big Gay Ice cream place is right across the street which has the best icecream ever!

Amazing atmosphere especially with a jazz band playing whilst having dinner. The building itself is an old garage right in the centre of Greenwich village and has an amazing atmosphere. The food was delicious and I had the sesame seed crusted salmon and my partner had the steak off the specials menu. The food was incredibly tasty and generous in portion... More

Can be quite pricey with specific drinks but overall this an excellent bar with professional service, free jazz and a nice bar/restaurant arrangement.

It was Valentines Day. They had a prix fixe menu and an a la carte menu. The prix fixe, while a good deal, was much too much food, so my husband and I decide to select items from the a la carte menu. We were told that we HAD to order a least three courses from the a la carte... More

Went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. We got a table upstairs near the fireplace, which was nice because down near the band was really loud. They say it's $16.95 for anything on the menu though lots of items have additional charges listed next to them. The food was good but the portions were not that big. We were... More

This place is great. Easy reservation for a Saturday night... great food.. great jazz band Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. We had steaks and they were really good. Not sure if they were worth $35 per steak though.. that would be my only complaint...

We came here for some drinks after arriving in NYC as it was around the corner from where we were staying. Service was OK - friendly enough. Drinks were alright. Didn't eat here nor did we stay for the live music so unable to comment.

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
