The best jazz club ever! Great bands, very good atmosphere! The food is not bad. Very nice place to ear some jazz.
A good place with good vibe! Fantastic Jazz and Blues bands playing live....the best end of day with friends in a Saturday night in NY City. The food was so so! But the overall was above good
It was Valentines Day. They had a prix fixe menu and an a la carte menu. The prix fixe, while a good deal, was much too much food, so my husband and I decide to select items from the a la carte menu. We were told that we HAD to order a least three courses from the a la carte... More
Went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. We got a table upstairs near the fireplace, which was nice because down near the band was really loud. This place is great. Easy reservation for a Saturday night... great food.. great jazz band Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. We had steaks and they were really good. Not sure if they were worth $35 per steak though.. that would be my only complaint...
We came here for some drinks after arriving in NYC as it was around the corner from where we were staying. Service was OK - friendly enough. Drinks were alright. Didn't eat here nor did we stay for the live music so unable to comment.
A great venue. Great music. The food and service were excellent. My first visit here and would definitely come back... Don't like anonymous comments, well done The Garage... Gerard Allen
Only one visit recently for lunch, but menu of burgers and salads was well executed, atmosphere and service good. If you're looking for music, it's a good bet evenings. Otherwise, a reliable place for pub lunch, near the Christopher St. subway.
We had the Christmas brunch. For $30 apiece, pretty good. The $10 minosas, not so much. The host was curt, and almost inattentive. Waiter did a good job, and the jazz was very good.
We had looked at all the reviews on here before we booked but really wanted to go to a place with live music on Christmas day. We arrived 5 minutes before our reserved time (7.30pm) and stood in a queue for at least 20 ,minutes without being acknowledged. The guy who was seating people kept walking up to the podium... More
