We stayed at a hotel two blocks from this corner dog emporium and I had lunch several time there during the week. I love a good dog and these were great. Natural casing all-beef and grilled. I had mine with kraut and spicy mustard with a glass of pineapple-banana-peach juice. I'm bettin' they serve Papaya Dogs in Heaven!

Whenever I happen to walk by a Gray's I go in for a Pina Colada. It is cold, refreshing, and fills you up.I have no idea how many calories are in it, but who cares.I believe it is made from fresh ingredients.

It's not haute cuisine, but it is a kitschy, tourist-worthy taste of New York for every visitor to the city. Get a hot dog or two and a juice, and be entertained. It's great for a hot dog, and budget friendly too. I've been to multiple locations and have only noticed minimal differences, so take your pick and visit a... More

While in NYC visiting family, our son was perturbed that I was headed off to find a hot dog vendor for a quick snack, insisting that we must try our this place, one of his favorites. I just had a basic hotdog (there are many ways to dress it up) - and it was definitely better than the normal street... More

This place is always crowded, there are no tables, no chairs. But the hot dog... is just delicious, as well as the non alcoholic piña colada (I haven´t tried the other drinks). Be prepared to eat at least two hot dogs. The prices are very good, it´s a no frill snack bar with delicious food.

During our stay we are here twice. Nothing like a great $2 hot dog to feed a hungry family on a budget.

The hot dogs were excellent! I was unprepared for the onions to be cooked and in some type of sauce- I prefer onions on a hot dog to be raw-but that didn't interfere with the taste of the dog! I would skip the tropical drinks - too artificial.

I only eat plain hot dogs here, but they are delicious, with a snappy casing, and cheap. I just love this place, no one does hot dogs better.

My fiance told me to go here as they have the 'best' hotdogs in NYC and we were staying up the road on 80th. Well he was right! The hot dogs are quite small but that suits me perfect. I queued up and ordered a hot dog with cheese and chilli which was $2.95. It was amazing! They also do... More

Gray's Papaya is a must to go place for eating great hotdogs in NYC. Well located in Greenwich Village. The place is quite small, you can find a spot to eat inside or otherwise just to take away. Great prices.
