Haru has a few locations in the city and all of them are consistently good from my experience. This location right in Times Square is no exception. It does get pretty busy so try to make a reservation if possible. If you want to take it back to your room, they have perfect take out - they give you nice... More

We stopped in for Happy Hour 3pm-7pm and had drinks and apps. Everything is 50% off for happy hour. Sushi is excellent, so is the Tempura and Edamame. The bartenders are fantastic, and the drinks are poured heavy. Good times had by all.

We ate at Haru on our last night of our week long visit to New York, and it was fantastic. The restaurant could have been a little less lit up to be more comfortable, and the service was slow to start with in taking our drinks order, however after we received our appetizers we were not disappointed at all. We... More

If you go to a Broadway play or decide to tour the Times Square neighborhood, there is no better place to have a sushi or sashimi dinner! The Broadway Haru, one of several branches in Manhattan, is comfortable, cheery, and next to all the action. You cannot go wrong with any of the sushi or sashimi selections. Fish is fresh... More

It was a fun to have a Japanes-style dinner near the crowded Broadway area. Their servece was very friendly and good. Foods were very good and entertaining. Of course, you cannot expect the highest level sushi in the expensive Sushi-ya in Ginza, Tokyo. Please go and enjoy the food and atomispher at the casual Japanese- style restaurant.

This is a staple of mine while in NYC - you will always get great sushi and service. I tend to sit at the sushi bar to watch the chefs. From 5-7 there is a happy hour menu that has some great deals (only available at the bar). Sushi here is very good and prepared quickly. This time I was... More

We found this place by coincidence while walking in broadway street in NYC. This restaurant has great maki rools and very delicious miso soup. The menu has unusual maki rolls ingredients which makes it more interesting to try. Definitely worth trying it if you are a japanese cuisine fan and you are in NYC. A bit pricey though
