This was recommended by a New Yorker friend for after theater who, it turns out, had never atually eaten there. It was unbelievably bad even for Theater District. Loud ugly music. Dirty tables. Frozen commercial squid. Lobster dumplings with fake lobster. A roll left over from lunch. Charged for an extra bottle of wine. Looks like the late night staff... More

At first, the place is very clean. This is a major point to consider for a suschi restaurant (raw food) The decor is nice and modern. The sushi are very very good. I would recomand this place to anyone !

Really liked everything I tried. From sashimi, crawfish sushi, duck spring rolls (though there wasn't much duck in there, still good). Service was fast for lunch. Would really like to try other options there.

Very fresh sushi, large portions, and swift, friendly service. Great lemongrass hot and sour soup. All around, a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to the next time.

Ate at Haru's while in NY last week with my work colleagues and had a lovely meal. Restaurant is always crowded and you need to make a reservation but worth the wait. Staff is friendly and always smiling. Sushi rolls are generously portioned and they have a nice alternative selection for those who do not appreciate sushi. Delicious meal overall.

This was a real surprise for us. They have an extensive menu and everything was delicious with great drinks. I don't know why the reviews aren't higher. Highly recommended and close to everything in Times Square. Great atmosphere too.

Popped in for a beer and a quick bite, food was lovely and beers were cold, service efficient - bathroom clean. My only complaint was that even though it was happy hour we had to ask for the special menu which was not automatically brought out. In particular the teriyaki wings were excellent, everything very fresh. Would return

This was my third visit to one of several branches of HARU in New York. At lunchtime, the restaurant is extremely busy, yet the service is brisk and professional. The sushi and rolls are fresh; the presentation is tasteful and so is the restaurant's decor. I would have given HARU the four stars its food deserves had it not been... More

I was visiting a friend in NYC. We randomly picked this spot on on Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation. We had to wait 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. Our server was incredibly friendly and helped with suggestions. I had the fantasy roll and my friend had the broadway roll. We also tried tempura cheesecake and banana... More

Have eaten here twice before attending nearby Broadway shows. Sushi was fresh and flavorful, service prompt and efficient. Prices about average for the area.
